Hey, I have been to Philly, and I have eaten cheesesteak sandwiches all over the country. This place does not have authentic steak sandwiches. The place looks like a small old Mexican restaurant inside, or maybe it used to be one. Not very clean.
I walked in and waited to get my order taken. Once I ordered, we were given our drink cups so that we could fill them up ourselves. We walked into the back, and there is a small room connected to the dining area that has the fountain drinks. We filled our cups up and walked back to the dining area to find a table. As we were leaving the fountain drink room, I noticed a bunch of condiments sitting on a tray. Things such as ketchup, mustard, parmesan cheese, etc. But these were big bottles that you would get in your local grocery store. So, I can only assume that those are "community" bottles and everyone can use them at their leisure.
We sat down and our ticket number was called. We went to pick our food up, and then returned to our table. The french fries are very good. The steak sandwich was just ok. Not very flavorful. The meat didn't seem to have any kind of taste really. And the provolone cheese that I ordered on it was almost plastic. It wasn't melted really.
All in all this place was just alright. It will do in a pinch, but wouldn't go back regularly. If you are looking for a good steak sandwich, try Roy's Cheesesteaks in Smyrna, GA. YUM!!!!
Pros: Ok in a pinch to eat there.
Cons: Not very clean and food isn't very flavorful.
