Great place for Tacos 5/10/2009

Be prepared to wait in line for tacos - doesn't matter what time of day you go. I ordered a taco and tostadas. If I had ordered again, I would have settled with just the tacos. THey don't use beef but rather pork for their tacos. The order comes with chips and salsa. for $0.50 you can order guacamole. The tacos are $1.60 without cheese, $0.50 for cheese so $2.10 - not bad. more

Best Tacos in West LA 3/31/2006

Tito's Tacos in Culver City is a MUST for anyone who loves tacos. Tacos are $1.80 with cheese. They are simply delicious and so cheap. I always get three tacos and guacamole (every order comes with warm, crispy tortilla chips that they make fresh). Parking is an ordeal because the place is SO popular, even on weekdays. So you might have to wait in your car 5-10 minutes until a spot opens up. They won "Best Mexican Food Restaurant 2003" from City Search Los Angeles. And no wonder: everyone I bring to Tito's loves it! I have to reiterate that Tito's Tacos is extremely popular and crowded. Don't become deterred from trying it though, because that just means that it's really good! not that big of a deal 11/4/2005

driving past this taco stand and seeing all the commotion in front you would think they were giving the tacos away. so of course, i had to try it. in general, while they weren't bad tacos, they weren't the epiphanies that alot of my friends have praised them to be. el burrito jr. on hawthorne is so much more superior, in my humble opinion. their tacos have a better depth of flavor and the shells are a lovely crispiness. i don't know. maybe i went on an off day for the kitchen? more

The Best Hole in the Wall Mexican Food! 10/31/2005

There are many Mexican restaurant establishments; there are many different types of Mexican food and even more of Latino food in general. Baja Fresh may be tasty, filling, and delicous. But there is no better deal than Tito's Tacos in Culver City. For students, this restaurant is an extremely important recommendation. Cheap prices allow the order of many products. And that is just the price. The standard Tito's Taco comes in at just under a dollar-fifty. Most items are well under three dollars. Mix and match the many items; and do not forget their great salsa. The food also happens to be quite delicous. Now if perhaps a somewhat greasy. "hole-in-the-wall" Mexican restaurant is not what you are looking for, you should probably stay away from Tito's Tacos. But for anyone and everyone else, it is so good I dare you to resist once you pass by its large front door. Tito's Tacos is a popular gem of Culver City and a must try for all visitors, residents, students, families, well, everyone. more

Great Tacos!! 8/6/2005

This place has been around forever. Ther is always a line even at 11pm. The tacos are really good, not ground beef like some places, they use shredded beef. Burritos are also pretty good. They give chips and salsa, but the guacamole is worth spending the extra bucks for. Excellent! Parking can be somewhat of a problem as the lot is not huge, but there is street parking. Prices are very reasonable and they have an area for dine-in. You can order outside and eat inside or order inside. Just scope out the lines and see which is shorter. more
