Tires Plus Total Car Care

I brought my car in for an oil change @ 11:00, The technician said it would be ready by 12:30 and I would get a call if they found anything else wrong with the car.I called @ 1:00 and they were still working on it. Finally @ 2:00, I received a call that the car was ready. When I went to pick up the car, the car was parked in the far back parking lot with the passenger side window WIDE OPEN!!!! The business is not in a great area and I was very concerned, I expressed my concern to the technician and he sent a mechanic out to check it, The mechanic came back and said the window was not open. I told him it was the passenger side window and he went out to check again. He never came back in. The technician then proceeded to tell me I had an oil leak and the car needed new struts. Needless to say, I was very upset that nobody had called me to tell me this and that my car was sitting there wide open for anyone to go through. The technician knew that they had made a grave mistake and tried to give me a free oil change to make up for it. I will never bring my car there again!!!! DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR TO THIS PLACE!!! I will be contacting Tires Plus corporate offices to alert them of the situation. more

I recently brought my wifes car into this mechanic because her brake light was going on. I had been to this garage a few times with my car having had new tires and brakes as well as oil change type of services performed. I went in and told the man her brake light was going on and off. They inspected the car and said we needed 4 new tires and the transmission needed to be serviced. I told him fine but check the brakes as well. I picked the car up a day later with new tires on it and a tuned up transmission and over 600 dollars out of my pocket. Supposedly they were also to change the oil and check the whole brake system. Well the brake light still goes on. I brought it back in and when they looked the car up in the computer there was no record of checking the brakes though there was a note that I said the brake light was on and off. They also never changed the oil! Now I am having a new master brake cylinder put in for another 400 dollars but wish these guys would have done the work in the first place! I would not recommend them. more
