Tire barn Experience\r
After purchasing my tires from Tire Barn at Allinsonville road in Fishers IN I was happy with tires and the way I was treated. I would have definitely recommended your service to friends and family. Unfortunately after my latest experience on Dec. 19th 2009 I would absolutely not recommend Tire Barn to anyone except maybe my worst enemy. \r
On Dec. 19 2009 I took my Dodge Magnum to have what I thought would be my free Rotation and Balance. When I arrived at Tire Barn Located on Pendelton Pike in Indianapolis they took my car to get the service started. About 20minutes after arriving Rob whom I believe is the Manager brought a lug nut from my vehicle saying it had swelled and they had Rounded the lug nut to the point it would not go back on. That day the temperature was 32 degrees outside and metal will only swell under extreme heat which wasn’t the case. Me, not being an incompetent person like the mechanics may pass this information off on as fact questioned his logic. He simply stated it wasn’t his problem and that I would need to take it somewhere else. I stated it was his problem, and got the same garbage that it is wasn’t his problem. So I spent the next hour driving around looking for a new lug nut since I only have 4 out of the 5 on my car currently but no service department was open.\r
So now being 1pm I called the Tire Barn Located on Allisonville Rd. in Fishers In where I had them originally done. I talked with Gary the manager who I explained my ordeal and seemed to care less about what a headache my situation has become. When arriving I figured they would handle my rotation promptly and with little to no problem. Quite the opposite when arriving I explained my situation again, and had my keys taken and took a seat. After sitting there for and 1.5hrs they finally pulled my vehicle in. So now it is 3pm, 3.5hrs after I originally went in for service and just started the simple rotation and balance. In the hour it took to rotate the tires they rounded out three more lug nuts, and used a 2.5lb sledge hammer to remove the socket from the lugs that are still attached to the car. Which for all I know bent threads and caused more unforeseeable damage to my car. By the time I left I had more damage to my car, it was well after 4pm, and was met with and no apology for my hassle or willingness to get new lug nuts for me. \r
I don’t understand how a company that boast a locally owned and operated reputation would treat their clients like a monopoly would treat their clients. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone hands down. NEGATIVE 5 STARS FOR ME!!!!
