Thunder Hollow

Extremely Poor. Longmeadow and Thunder Hollow, are managed by the Oxford Realty Group, and directed by the 'Lafonge Associates': George Karasick, Susan Lee and Harry Rieder. They employ 2 property managers - Ari Mandel for Longmeadow - and office staff to run a clutch of the filthiest, dirtiest residential hovels ever seen in industrialized countries. These people are the quintessential 'slumlords'. Never return a call, never respond to inquiries, the BBC has them listed with a 'F' rating. I am paying $1000.00/month for a 736 square foot, one bedroom apartment, with the roof caving in on top of me for 6 years now. There is so much mold on the ceiling there are slimy, stalagtites dripping down. I work 60-80 hours a week, but my neighbors are all on welfare housing, none of them work and they keep me up all night partying. Since the buildings are very old and not maintained, all the insulation around the windows is deteriorated and the heating/air conditioning is over $300.00/month. I cannot urge the reader strongly enough to shun any property managed by the OXFORD REALTY GROUP - Lafonge associates (criminals). more

We have been here two years. the management is friendly and hard working. it is like living in the middle of a park...lovely trees wildlife gorgeous rare birds....\r \r Neighbors are great...we are a real community. HUGE townhouse for about 200 more than apartment.....\r \r Safe secure QUIET living...\r \r Michelle the property manager is lovely and Maryanne the rental agent is a gem...come down the holler......its a real home. more

Have been living in our lovely apartment for nearly 3 weeks now and can't believe I haven't written a review yet! I was referred to this location by my best friend. They showed us two apartments that were ridiculously well priced. We ended going with our amazing apartment were in now., newly renovated with brand new everything - right down to the bathtub. Thanks so much! more

I have lived in 2 different units for over 3 1/2 years and can say that there is no better place, for the price, in Bensalem. The owner and staff are more than happy to work with you on anything. Any concerns you may have they are willing to talk to you and help better satisfy your needs. more

I am writing this to let everyone know that Thunder Hollow Apartments are simply the best and that I do not ever plan on moving for a really long time. Pretty much the place that I just came from was a complete roach infested nightmare! Thunder Hollow is clean, large, the rent isn't crazy and best of all I don't have to hide my cat! I consider myself very lucky to have found these apartments!! more

Not worth the money. Cons: no maintenance, unhygienic, so unsafe for kids in winter more

Maintence is non-existent, all apartments are filled with old, unkempt appliances, pipes, wiring, etc. The price of rent is fair for a condo in center city, but not for a slum like thunder hollow. Pros: ummm.....good location? Cons: no maintance, horrible staff, mold, did i mention no maintence? more
