Awesome 7/24/2015

I love going to Thomas Dental Center. They are all very friendly and cordial there. They are patient when I ask questions. Most of all though, I like that they make sure I am comfortable. more

Pleased and Happy 5/15/2011

I have been a patient here for a few years and I am very pleased with the services I have received. Dr. Thomas and his staff are very professional and nice providers. I have been to other offices and this one was the best. I would recommend him to all my family and friends. more

A good review 5/13/2011

Good: I have been a patient of Dr. Thomas for a few years and I really like this office.He and his staff are always very professional and excellent providers. Although I am insured, I have friends that are on medicaid.There were several dentist in Statesboro that took medicaid but most if not all of them droppped out, which made people have to drive hours for care. I think doctors should give back to the community in some way. I would recommend Dr. Thomas to all my friends and family.. Bad: I have no complaints!. more

disappointed 5/3/2011

I went to the office because my friend spoke highly of Dr. Thomas and his staff. In the beginning only I was a patient (with dental insurance). As time went on I felt this was the perfect office to bring my family. When my children (they have medicaid) started going I noticed a major change. During my appointments everyone was very attentive. They made sure to explain to me what dental work I needed, and the cost down to the penny! When my children went I didn't get the same reaction, and appointments were scheduled 3 months away JUST FOR A FILLING! Now this wasn't what made me upset. During an appointment my son had to have his fillings done, he informed me after the appointment how the doctor was telling his assistant how he wasn't making any money doing the filling on him because he has what Dr. Thomas referred to as "state insurance". He also overheard the doctor and assitance complain about other staff members. of course I have since then left this office. I've also notified Amerigroup about what is going on and we are working together to get enough complaints to have him dropped as a provider. If he won't treat our children equally then he doesn't deserve to collect even if it isn't enough to keep spoiling himself with luxuries. So parents with concern please call the Reps and let them know how our children are being treated, and show this doctor how we can change his business! The reps are following up with the office to find out if our kids are being accomodated. more

Good Review 4/9/2011

Dr. Thomas and his staff are very professional and caring. My children and I enjoy going to our visits. Because of the care we received, my children are no longer afraid of the dentist. They really care about there patients. I would refer this office to all my friends and family. more

Not a Good Review. 2/2/2011

They were very nice people in first year. They suggested pulling all the healthy baby teeth from my 7 yr old daughter to make some room for the new (on the spot). My wife kindly said she needed to first discuss with my husband (me) as a parental decision before putting our 7yr old little girl through such a dramatic experiance. Before we even had a chance to decide on anything...a week later they sent a letter telling us to go somewhere else and find another doctor? What the heck was that about? VERY RUDE!!! We have always been happy loyal customers as a family. I guess it is another example of a egotistical Doctor that wants to make his own decisions without compassion or courtesy to the patients values and without any discussions. Secondly, a few weeks prior, my wife had a perfectly fine previous filling (5 yrs old) removed and replaced by this office, now she has problems with food build up and pain on occasion from an improper replacement and needs to get fixed again. I would rather drive to another town to find a good (respected by the patient) doctor for my little girl. more

Thomas Dental Center is the best place to go in Statesboro for teeth bleaching. Dr. Thomas is very gentle and tells you what he is going to do before he does it. The offer many services, including cosmetic dentistry, filling and inlays,extractors and many, many others. They accept most dental plans. You will be pleased going here, Dr. Thomas is the best. more
