I recently attended a friend's rehersal dinner in their patio tent. The decorations were beautiful and the view of the golf course was amazing! Very impressed.

My family has been going to the stock pot for years. Debbie the owner and host is always very friendly and truly goes above and beyond for clients. The menu has changed and I was skeptic but it is even better. My mother has has throat surgery so she can only eat very tender meat that is easy to swallow the Tuscan Beef fits that profile. She loves it and always orders it. We also love happy hour the wasabi deviled eggs are so good, as well as the french onion soup. I truly have not had a bad meal there. We even schedule work parties, and meetings there. Our staff meets often for nachos aone ound drinks. The bartenders are nice without being obnoxious and have a great sense of humor. I have had the bar menu after a round of golf, lunch, and also gone out for a nice dinner there. The atmosphere is a little lodge like with dim lighting but honestly it really makes everyone look fabulous I try to schedule all my first dates there since I swear it makes you look 5 years longer. The crowd is a mix of old and young but as the evening goes on it tends to be on the younger middle 20's to 30's in the bar section. The bar menu is the best in Tigard by far. You can feel 4 people on one plate alone. They also have a brie dish that is fabulous and a bacon bloody mary which is amazing. The price is very affordable. I haven't had brunch there but from what I have hear it is fantastic.they also have a wednesday night BBQ with a band that is is amazing and the music is fantastic. I highly recommend going and the owners are constantly adding new things and making improvements. I have yet to be disappointed there. and highly recommend it to everyone. more

I've made my last visit. My family has 3/20/2012

I've made my last visit. My family has gone to The Stockpot for over 20 years. Through changes in employees and management, this place is not what it used to be. Last night, I received the worst cut of meat I have ever had. It was not cooked correctly. The bread is now garbage. And they've replaced good salads with ""The Wedge""....Yuck! Goodbye Stockpot. more

Fathers Day Brunch 6/20/2011

My family took me to brunch at the Stockpot last sunday after we played a round at Redtail. I didn't know what to expect, but I certainly wasn't expecting to have prime rib carved in front of me while my custom omlet was being cooked! The buffet had something for everyone: my wife loved the steelhead and eggs benedict while the kids ate waffles and bacon, and too much cake. Thanks for a wonderful meal! more

Unbeatable Food, Outstanding Service 6/2/2011

I had the privilege of eating an incredibly juicy and delicious burger while feeling as though I was the only customer in the place due to the exceptional service and friendly staff. more

Marginal Experience 5/29/2011

I am visiting from Colorado and my Mom flew in from Massachusetts. We took our kids and grand kids to the Stockpot and were very disappointed in the service. The food was good and the prices were reasonable, however the service will keep me from returning. Our waiter forgot to bring two beverages that we ordered and failed to bring the Tabasco that we requested. Our waiter also forgot to refill my coffee until I asked a second time. Additionally, for a restaurant that was featured by Wine Spectator we were surprised that when we asked for a selection of sparkling wines, the only thing offered was a $3.50 glass of champagne. We we asked a second wait person for the selection, he indicated that a $3.00 glass of champagne was the only one available. Not impressive. more

Good Food Good Drinks 6/20/2010

Within the past few months I have been to the Stockpot Broiler during evening hours on the weekend. Service was great even during the busier times. I started coming to the Stockpot based on recommendation. Never again will I go back. My first visit I noticed a drunk customer ordering staff around and being overall unimaginative and somewhat embarrassing. This experience was written off, some people have their moment in public and can't control themselves. No big deal. It was hard not to notice this person every visit to the Stockpot. It was either the video poker area or the bar, the more wine consumed the louder she got. Very strange and uncomfortable to say the least. I will not be back. Pros: Golf, Cons: Please read more

Bar Menu is a Hole in One! 4/18/2010

The Stockpot is my favorite 19th holes! I play a lot of golf around town but I always love going to Redtail because no matter how I play that day the service and food at Stockpot are incredible. I always try to make the happy hour because the cheese burger can't be beat! Its a big burger served with chips and its $4 are you kidding me? The variety is what I like most. Our foursome will come in and we always mix it up and get a nacho, egg rolls, or the beef satay. I have missed the happy hour before and was stuck having a big thick cut of the prime rib. My friends had Mahi fish tacos, prime rib dip sandwich, and the chicken with waffles! All of our non happy hour items were under $15 and a good amount of food! Pros: Awesome Happy Hour Food! more

Beaverton's Best 4/9/2010

My family and I went to the Stockpot Broiler for my parents anniversary, their favorite spot, and was I surprised. What a remarkable establishment, from the service to the menu. I had the lamb rack with a carrot puree and lamb sweetbreads, wonderful!! My wifes scallops were something else, cooked perfectly. My parents stayed with what they know steak and the pepper steak looked fabulous as did the Tuscan tenderloin. This was defiantly not what I expected when we drove up to their spacious parking lot, hey free parking for that downtown experience. Pros: Creative cuisine, generous drinks, service Cons: large portions more

Easter brunch is the worst ever! 4/4/2010

OMG. Easter Brunch there was the absolute pits. The food was literally cold and gross! The buffet is warmed on the bottom by hot water, but the eggs and potatoes were still cold, even the stuff they had just put out. The sausage was rubbery. Decent prime rib, but that was it. The salad had so much dressing, it was like soup. The waffles were cold. When I mentioned the cold food to our server, i was told to go into the next room and tell the chef about it! Isn't that the server's job? Then they put out more food and it was also cold. They have some nerve charging $21.95 per person for such garbage! Pros: nice location and view of golf course Cons: terrible terrible food, overpriced too more

Amazing food, a nice view, and great service too! 1/23/2010

The Stockpot has a nice variety on their menu and you really can't go wrong with anything you select. One of my favorites is the prime rib and I'm not a big beef eater. The lamb is another dish I'd recommend and you can never go wrong with any of their seafood dishes. The crab cakes and stuffed mushrooms are both great starters and don't forget to save room for dessert. Their creme brule is to die for! Their wait staff is very attentive and the view of the golf course is probably the best in Beaverton. I've been there numerous times and have always been delighted! Pros: Excellent food--especially the beef more

Great Food, Grumpy Service 12/20/2009

I attended a company banquet recently and was astounded at the bad attitude all but a few of the servers displayed from the beginning of the evening. It was very apparent that they did not want to be there. The private bar tender was abrasive and short and a few of the servers looked like they were ""one something."" I witnessed one of the servers knock my jacket off of the back of my chair, then walk all over it almost tripping...no effort to pick it up . I would have to say that for the price of hosting an event at The Stockpot Broiler, we expected better. more

Good Happy Hour in Beaverton? YES WAY!! 10/5/2009

My girlfriend and I went to Stockpot Broiler last week after a friend of ours who works there finally got us off the beaten path to go visit her. We live almost in St. Johns, so it's not easy to get us on to Portland's ""suburban side."" Wow, we were missing out. Their HH menu is packed with good eats, probably about 10-15 choices, and well drinks less than $3?! On a golf course?! They've got a full bar, I think 5 or 6 beers on draft, and pretty damn good food. We ordered 4 HH plates, my lady had 2 cocktails and I had 2 drafts, and got out of there for less than $25. I know you can get $1 PBR anywhere in Portland, but for the view we had from our table (18th hole) and the overall feel of the place, I'm sold on this HH. In terms of it being far away, if you know how to navigate a freeway it really isn't that far from anything. 217 gets you there, and 5/405 to 26W coming from N Portland is a sure way. So our friend had just gotten off shift and wasn't our server, but the girl we had was super cool and totally attentive, and the other girls looked like they were happy to be there, sometimes an anomaly in Portland's service industry. It was pretty jammin when we were in there actually. The day HH is from 4-6, and they also do it from 9-close! I consider myself a HH enthusiast, and this one is totally worth the drive for what a great time we had. I think this may be one of Beaverton's best kept HH secrets from the suburb-shy Portlandites...shouldn't be though! Good times! Happy HH everyone!! Pros: cheap drinks/food, friendly staff Cons: why aren't you on your way here?!?!?! more

The Stockpot is great! 9/29/2009

My girlfriend and I have been here 3 or 4 times and we have had a great time each trip. The staff is friendly, and the scenery at Red Tail Golf course is beautiful. The food is also outstanding; everything I have ordered has been excellent. Try the lobster bisque! Pros: Service, food, atmosphere more

Average for the area 8/21/2009

This used to be a great place (considering location) to have a nice, dressed up meal, posh service and great wine. The only thing that remains the same is the location. \r Most of the patrons here have been eating here since the 1980's or 1990s and probably have fond memories of how they used to be: great. But not so much anymore.\r \r It's not terrible, but for the price...it's just not worth it. Steaks are huge, but not tender. Food it tasty, but nothing out of this world or new/innovative.\r \r Pros: I've had worse Cons: I've had a lot lot better more

Rude 6/16/2009

I can't believe how rude the service was. Worst I've ever experienced. Tried to raise the issue with management but she was just as rude if not worse. \r \r I won't be returning. Ever.\r Cons: Rude Service more
