I love to visit Spas, I moved here from Florida where we enjoyed going as often as possible. I have several favorite spas , each has a their own special qualities;depending on what you are interested in at the time. I have visited large spas in Bellevue, Kirkland, Redmond/Woodinville and have traveled into Seattle, I have really enjoyed each experience, don't care for the medi-spas but that's my preference. That's the point, Preference! If you want privacy, higher quality time with wonderful treatments, this is the place for you and oh, I forgot, focused around WOMEN only!! Love it! A friend of mine gave me a gift certificate, (Spa Finder) at Christmas time. I have been to lots of Spas, this is my past time enjoyment. My company provides gifts to the Spa when I travel. So, I have visited many resort/destination Spas around the country. There are many different types and specialty services in each Spa I experience. This time I decided to try this specialty Spa. I experienced the Rejuvenation Oasis Package: Massage, Facial & Pedicure. I added on lunch, which made my day even brighter. I absolutely loved the service, the privacy was wonderful, the products smelled pure and felt great. Very Unique concept and most enjoyable experience by far. Pros: clean, experienced, cozy more

I'll never go anywhere else 1/22/2006

Recently moved to Edmonds from Ballard, which meant I needed to find a new esthetician. I don't just trust my eyebrows to anyone, so i took a chance with Joyce. Well, i am so happy that i took this chance! The moment that you walk in, you are treated as a special guest in her home. You get slippers, tea, and such wonderful hospitality as soon as the door shuts behind you. Joyce remembers the type of skin i had and what type of treatment i needed. She gave me a wonderful pedicure, facial, and gave my eyebrows such a glamorous arch! She takes her time with you, she's very courteous & hospitible, and very considerate (she always tells you when she's leaving the room and when she comes back in while you have something covering your eyes). Don't be scared of a bikini wax 1/16/2006

I was pretty nervous going in for my first bikini wax especially after reading some others experiences at other spas but this place was great. It was very, very private and not at all as painful as others made it out to be. (Not painless though :) ) I was kept very relaxed and would definatley go back for other services. Great results! 1/9/2006

I have visited this spa several times for massage mostly. Being a nurse in Dermatology I was nervous about skin care especially facials. I decided to experience it once. After talking with Joyce about skin, I decided to try the Basic Facial. I thoroughly enjoyed this. I was really interested in the Facial Toning procedure to see if this really did improve muscle tone. I purchased a series of treatments and must say I do see a marked improvement. Both my husband and friends have noticed the improvement. This is a great way to improve facial atrophy... I now have more confidence in this type of care for the skin. Happy customer. Best Gift 1/7/2006

My husband gave me a gift certificate to visit this Spa during Xmas. I was hesitant since I had never heard anything about this place. We moved here from LA; I was a regular at many nice places in LA. Well, this place was very unique, different from what I am used to. I was greeted with slippers, warm tea and the Best facial & Massage I have ever received. I will definately return. My gift to myself was buying a series of these services! I got an amazing massage from her- the best I've ever had. Her hands were incredibly warm and full of great energy. The place is small, but beautifully arranged and they even give you a pair of warm slippers when you come in! Pros: GREAT massage, Hidden gem, Soothing atmosphere more

The Stress Relif Facial and Pedicure are exactly that!!! Joyce could not have been kinder! She made it possible to relax and enjoy the treatment. I had the place to myself so I could really relax. I was allowed to enjoy every moment of my treatments. Everything smelled beautiful and relaxing.....this was my great escape! Pros: Great Prices, Great Service more

I recently moved to Kirkland and I was looking for a good spa (with decent prices). After reading all the reviews about "The Spa...", I decided to give it a try. Everything was far beyond any expectations I might have had. Joyce is a very nice person, she took all the time to talk with me before the treatment , the facial was the best I ever had, she gave me suggestions about the way to care for my skin. And the price - I expected to pay at least double! I will definitely go back. I don't know what Joyce did to my skin, but it never looked so good! This is a great small spa where you can get customized treatments that suit your specific needs. The owner, Joyce, is highly skilled (her facials are marvelous!) and always goes the 'extra mile' for her customers. Her prices are reasonable, and she offers 'buy 5 get one free' packages. Great Massage 10/9/2005

I finally used my gift certificate that my husband gave me for Christmas . . . and the massage was great! Lisa was great and addressed my specific muscle tension with great strength. I hate wimpy massages and this one was perfect. I highly recommend Lisa and this spa. more

Look at this - I am impressed that the staff of this Spa takes the time to respond to each and every one of their reviewers. That really says something - it tells me that not only do they pay attention to what we have to say and appreciate our business but that they also pay attention to the small details - that's a good quality for a service company like a spa. I send my wife to spas from time to time and have always found it hard to pick a place that is worthwhile. I told my wife to go here, based on what I've read. She came back with a glowing report. So I felt that it was only right to let people know. Good on you Spa staff! more

As some women do, I was nervous going into my first "spa" treatment. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I was allowed my modesty, immediately felt secure and loved the quiet atmosphere. I had an amazing facial at the Spa... Joyce spent extra time with me to coach me on getting the most amazing skin. With a few SIMPLE adjustments to my routine based on Joyce's guidance, WOW! My face has never looked or felt so great! 7/7/2005

I received a special mask with Vitamin C and Green Tea from Joyce Murdock. Not only was this an incredibly relaxing experience but my skin felt so great. I could feel how it nourished and fed my skin. My face was radiant and silky smooth. I couldn't even see any of my wrinkles! My sun damaged face looked and felt wonderful. I can't wait to do it again! I highly recommend this treatment for everyone! Thanks Joyce! You are awesome!!!! more

Patrons are greeted at the door with personalized scents and a pair of slippers; they are then encouraged to proceed to treatments at their own pace for total relaxation. Organic European facials and massages are given in an adjacent treatment room, while pedicures are performed in a cozy armchair stocked with plenty of reading material.
