For take out, this was beautifully presented! I thought everything was amazing and refreshingly different from nearby places. Red potato salad was perfectly balanced with large slices of potato and light dressing, the mac and cheese was simply delicious, the brisket was like eating classic style ribs but even more tender, and even the fries tasted fresh off a grill rather than fried. My boyfriend and I share an account, he didn't like it as much as I did because he had a fattier piece of the brisket and is picky, but I can't wait to try other dishes. - Diana Terry more

I first saw this place on Chicago's Best when they featured the smoked macaroni & cheese on an episode. After watching them cook it in the kitchen, serve then eat it, I had to try it as it looked amazing & cheesy. We ordered & it did not disappoint! Super cheesy & smoky, but not overwhelmingly so. I've ordered from here multiple times now & can vouch for their AMAZING fried green tomatoes, delicious she crab soup, great hush puppies & don't even get me started on the fantastic shrimp and grits! Everything comes well packaged (even the soup- never has shown up leaking or spilled!) and warm. Definitely a must try! more

really yummy - definitely would order from again. the fried chicken sandwich was really moist and so was the fried chicken dinner. the only item that wasn't the best was the biscuit and gravy - lacked flavor - maybe a bit of salt. Also the she crab soup was out of site! so flavorful i couldn't believe it. I thought for sure that everything would come warm but everything was HOT. they only took 34 - to 40 minutes to deliver!! more

LOVED IT! 3/26/2010

A great addition to the Wicker Park neighborhood. Same owners as Chaise Lounge but a whole new look, vibe and menu. Keep the calorie counter at home. It is worth it! Chef Cary Taylor personally delivered our second dish, a to-die-for Mac & Cheese, and asked our opinion on our half devoured Poutine. All we could say was OMG! Fries, cheese and gravy - CRAZY good! Our third dish, Johnny Cakes with pulled pork, equally delish. A small selection of signature cocktails, unique beers and laid back, friendly servers made this a completely positive experience. Could hang here all night as it has a comfy lodge like atmosphere and a good crowd. And ladies, certainly a few hottie employees to keep the girls a chattin. I hope this place lasts. It is just what we need in this hood! Pros: Delicious food; great service; relaxed vibe Cons: None. more

Cool late 2/20/2009

This is good for a cool bar scene. Lots of good looking guys. I went on Valentine's day with a date and the food was good but I recommend going early if you want to eat and relax before it turns into such a bar scene. Pros: Cool and not too expensive more

I don't know whats up with the bad reviews, took a chance ordering and I'm glad I did. I ordered crawfish fondue, fried chicken sandwich and shrimp roll. Crafish fondue: excellent, restrained with salt and grease but had great flavor. My only complaint was that the accompanying bread was not crisp and their fondue needed it. Shrimp roll: great, shrimp seemed fresh and a good size. Aioli was more of a fresh dill yogurt dressing. Roll was a bit unwieldy but seemed homemade. Chicken sandwich was eaten in two second by boyfriend so can't comment. The greens with bacon were cooked down and had I nice bite of vinegar to cut the richness of the bacon. I've eaten in the restaurant and it's funny because delivery was better. more

This restaurant is highly recommended! Great wait staff, awesome ambiance, delicious food, reasonably priced, we loved it! Reservations recommended as Chaise Lounge got really busy around 8:30 p.m. Parking is $10 valet, normal for the area. Upstairs cabanas and bar look to be fun. Relaxing & hip atmosphere, we'll be back! Pros: Ambience, Reasonably priced, service more
