I hate to call this "great" but "good" doesn't quite work either.
the current management of this Salvation Army Thrift store is friendly, cheerful, nice, approachable- There have been times when the staff is grumpy and rude, probably as a result of management, but as of the end of 2005 they're all nice people who make it a pleasure to shop there. I don't feel like I'm imposing because I want to look at the locked up jewelry and they don't get annoyed if someone has a question. The staff who take donations in the back are nice- previous incarnations felt like they were doing the donators a favor by taking the stuff!
The store is as clean or cleaner than most other Salvation Army thrift stores. Prices are variable but they get discounted if they don't sell at full price so there is some leveling out if they're priced too high. Like many other thrift stores you'll see some things priced as if new, so make sure you know what a realistic price should be. All donations are shipped to a central pricing zone in Denver and reshipped to the various stores, so don't expect to see your donations gracing the floors of your local store.
