I'm new to the area, and I've been looking for the perfect burger. Well, my search is over. Raleigh Times makes the juiciest, tastiest hamburger I've ever had, and I've eaten them the world over. Here's a tip, though: order it medium-rare, despite what the waitress might tell you. The ambience in the place is great: industrial, airy, but still cozy enough to not feel cold. While the drinks may be a little pricey, their phenomonal selection takes precedence, with a wide array of scotches and Belgian beers. The arugula salad was fresh and earthy, and the loaded fries perfectly done (fried, then baked with the toppings...fantastic). I went fairly early on a weeknight, so I don't know how the bar scene is. But I'll definitely be back regularly for that burger.
Pros: Out of this world burger; bar food with gourmet flair; good service; great drink selection
Cons: Drinks can be a little expensive
