I've eaten at the Raleigh Times Bar on a couple occasions because it seems to be the only place I can find that is open for lunch on a Saturday. The food is always fantastic and that is what I go for. The menu is mostly sandwiches and burgers but they do have special plates and soups/salads. The service has never been perfect for me. You sit where ever you can find a clean table and eventually someone comes by with menus. It has been busy every visit so they get around to you when they can. It isn't a place I would go if I were in a hurry. The portions are definitely lunch-sized, I sometimes wish they were a little larger because the food is always delicious.
