Best

The only place I will go to get my mani/pedi. I sometimes wold have to go elsewhere if they are booked and its not the same. Yea its a bit pricey but well worth it.

Worst

I visited this establishment with my daughter (2 and half years of age) and while getting my nails done, the worker placed a bucket of water right next to us without my knowledge....

nice job. 5/22/2012

Regular customers have their dibs on the top notch ladies. I will single out Nancy and Lee. Never had a bad experience, the place is always clean. Can't complain! more

Relaxing 5/11/2012

Great service here with affordable prices. I usually come in and get a spa pedicure and manicure. Very relaxing and soothing. more

Joanne is very skilled and knowledgeable 5/8/2012

Joanne is very skilled and knowledgeable. The facial was wonderful and she is teaching me how to better care for my skin. I appreciate that she is cautious and is careful in recommending products. She is delightful. more

Good job 5/4/2012

I have to admit I was a bit scared since this was the first time I ever have been waxed. Had my chest and back done by Joanne who did a great job! She was professional, courteous and personable. She explained what she was going to do and why she was doing it. She did not try to sell me any products like so many other skin professionals have tried to do. I would highly recommend Joanne for all of your skin care needs more

good jod 4/25/2012

I have Paula do my gels and Pauline do my pedi. Lynn does my eyebrows. I love them ALL. more

Thanks Nail Forum! 4/23/2012

The customer service is just great; all the ladies that work here are so nice. I have not once ever felt like the ladies were talking about me like at other salons, I really believe the staff is genuinely nice! Their services are pretty affordable and are always done really well. more

Amazing 3/8/2012

Tried other places in Porter Ranch before, but nothing can compare to the service, cleanliness, friendliness and expertise of the ladies at Nail Forum. Most walk-ins will probably not get the same experience because the long time, regular customers have their dibs on the top notch ladies. I will single out Nancy and Lee. Never had a bad experience, the place is always clean. Can't complain! more

Great Service 2/14/2012

I've been a client of Jon's for close to 10 years now. I enjoy every minute of each appointment. Joan is great at what she does. Not only is she extremely kind, but she has a lot of knowledge and experience. I really appreciate that thank you! more

Best Nail Salon I've been to in a long time! 11/8/2011

It's really nice and clean inside. It's a very friendly atmospthere. I don't know why people write bad reviews about it, there's nothing bad about it, from my experience. Everyone inside is very nice and complementing. The girls who do the nails are so sweet and will make sure you feel comfortable and make sure they understand what you want. They do really good nails, especially if you request certain people, like Paula or Natalie. Those girls have always done my acrylics and I love it so much. Also they have fun designs and it's totally worth the cost. It's very professional and a really good salon to try out. more

The Worst Nail Salon 7/30/2010

I visited this establishment with my daughter (2 and half years of age) and while getting my nails done, the worker placed a bucket of water right next to us without my knowledge. My daughter and myself included both tripped over the bucket of water and almost fell. When I looked around the lady looked at us with a look of disgust as if we were the clumsy ones. I was so frustrated, I decided to leave and had to pay full price without getting the complete treatment! Not to mention the work was mediocre at best and WAY over priced. This place lacks customer service on so many different levels. I would avoid this place at all costs. Save your money and go somewhere else down the street. Pros: Location Cons: Virtually Everything more

I Will Come Back to Porter Ranch Nail Forum 2/25/2010

I recently visited the Porter Ranch Nail Forum because I had a last minute event to attend and remembered my neighbor had recommended the spa when we last spoke. It just so happened to be a Friday afternoon (a busy day @ spas) but the young ladies at the front were able to work with my schedule and I got in for my full set and pedi. It took about an hour to be seated, worked on, and dried but my nails turned out great as I happen to be a bit anal about those type of things. I loved the fact that they cleaned the spa chair before and after I sat down as well as pulled freshly sterilized tools from a sealed bag. Although the prices were a bit higher, I am still willing to pay it because I know I'm getting more at the Porter Ranch Nail Forum than what I would at the corner hole in the wall nail shop. Overall, great experience and I truely recommend this spa to you. Pros: Very clean, good products, good hours, flexible booking, Cons: Spa runs on a tight schedule so make sure you're on time! more

Don't Get as Much 4 ur $ as other Nail Forums 1/31/2010

I work for LA county so I've been to four Nail Forums, including the one in Porter Ranch. The other locations, Glendale, Stevenson's Ranch, and Newhall, all include so much more for your $$$ in their Bella Pedicure than the Porter Ranch location. All the Nail Forums are independently owned and operated but each location has what is called the Bella and out of all the locations you get the least for your $$$$ at Porter Ranch . Glendale has its own website Here is what Glendale's Bella includes; Bella Pedicure $37 (Nail trim & shaping, cuticle grooming & conditioning, intensive callus treatment, mango peel, exfoliation, sea breeze, lotion massage with hot stones, hot towel, polish). Porter Ranch does not have its own website, call Porter Ranch and compare . For the same price, $37, Porter Ranch DOES NOT include the Callus treatment, hot stones, hot towels or the mango peal. What is worse is that before going there yesterday, I called and had them check with the manager, as to what their Bella included, so I could compare and decide if it was worth driving to Glendale, and I was given false information. I was told it included the callus treatment and the Mango Peel but when I sat in the chair and the pedicure started I was told otherwise by three employees. I then asked to see the manger who wasn't in. I asked for someone at the front desk . A pretty African-American girl came by and I told her the problem. I also explained that the other locations include so much more. She said their Bella did not include the callus treatment or the other things and she would have a talk with the girl I spoke to on the phone, Jordan, to set things straight. and she apologized. I told her I was not likely to come back and to please relay my sentiments to the owner. she was polite and said she was sorry. What's interesting is I called back again this morning just to see what would happen. The same African-American girl and answered the phone and claimed it included the callus treatment but none of the other extras Glendale includes. I can't believe the dishonesty to lure people in. Pros: NOT MANY Cons: THEIR SERVICES COST MORE & OFFER LESS THAN OTHER NAIL FORUMS more

Great nail service 5/15/2009

I've been coming to this salon since they opened about 6 years ago and have always been happy. I've had different technicians and manicures, pedicures, acrylics and gels. There are a few excellent technicians (Fawn, Bin , Vivian). The tools and salon are very clean. Pros: Great acrylics and gels Cons: The right technician is important more

good/tips 3/21/2008

this place is great!! the only thing that bothers me, is that i cant allways understand them when they speak to me, but that is not bad at all!! there great, they have the BEST massages EVER!! they need more spaces in there parking also!! keep up the good work ladies!!!! more

Wonderful Experience!! 6/27/2007

Everyone was really nice, and CLEAN! I loved that the most, they were SO clean. All the drains were cleaned after each customer, and all the tools were taken out of a new, sealed bag. I'm picky when it comes to cleanliness. The spa chairs were great, they massage you while you sit there (and the chairs ARE NOT ripped up, that other review must be old). I recommend anyone to go there if they are looking for great customer service, and a relaxing, feel-good time. more

RUDE 5/19/2006

The people that work at this salon are not only rude, but they are shiesty. I was given a gift certificate to go to this salon, and of course if I liked thier work I would have gone back, they were rude at the front desk, some lady came over to me and told me that she was ready for me, and then basically pushed me into a chair and worked as fast as she could to get out of there, adding all sorts of ""extras"" to my bill without my consent, I HATED the service, the manicure was NOT all that, and I WILL NEVER go back. more
