Addie has cut my hair ever since I moved to LA 5 years ago. I've tried other stylists (gift certificates, vacation) but no one has ever come close. People come up and ask me about my hair all the time. And, their salon has a great feel- easy parking, lots of tea and wonderful company. Love them! more

First off when you go in for your hair appt the vibe is amazing! Both of the girls are soooooo great, and their clients are always sweet too! Of course there is great conversation and last time I was there they had some yummy cookies to snack on:) Steph colored my hair blond and cut my bangs....I LOVE IT!!!!!!!! Everyone compliments me on my hair....I wont go anywhere else! This is definitely the place to go if you want a great cut and color job! Everytime I go in I have a vague idea of what I want and two hours later....waaaalaaaa its done and exactly what I always want! You should definitely check them out! more

I've got semi-asian hair which, if I were a girl, would be amazingly fun to style, layer, blow-dry, etc. But I'm a guy who doesn't really love using product, so it's always a challenge... too short and it's spiky?too long and it gets in the way. Stephanie has been my dream come true! I never have to give her much direction, and she cuts me just right every time... sometimes I ask for a little more fun/saxy or sometimes a little more business or ease... she gets it. And gives the best head massage ever when shampooing! Addie (whom I've tried a couple times in Steph's absence) is equally talented and they're both such positive happy people, it's always a pleasure to visit. Love love love. I loooooove Stephanie and Addie. These girls are amazing. They have been doing my cuts, color and extensions, and I will never go anywhere else. Addie gives me the most amazing haircuts. She is so creative, and takes so much time with each cut that she gives me. Stephanie has taken my hair from dark red to platinum blonde. This was quite a job, but it looked amazing, and I got so many compliments. Any color I want she can make happen. Together they do my extensions. They use the best hair that I have ever had. I have been able to grow my hair with no breakage. Whatever my color they manage to blend it perfectly with the extensions, and Addie cuts the extensions to blend them seamlessly. No one ever knows that I even have extensions. I can't recommend these girls enough. more

Stephanie has cut my hair for year and she's the best. I'm 55 have wavy thin medium length hair, and her cuts have consistently been great. There are times I'll ask for it short, and it's a bit shocking for a couple of days, and then it looks terrific and holds its shape for a long time. I don't spend time looking at my hair. I do it once in the morning, and that's it. So the ability to give me that freedom is worth every penny. RB more

I have never felt so at home going to see Stephanie and Addie. Even though it was only Stephanie cutting my hair, the atmosphere of the place and the great energy that both these incredible ladies have together is simply priceless. Don't expect attitude, but simply a down to earth, loving and humble atmosphere. Every time that Stephanie has cut my hair I feel fantastic, inside and out. She absolutely knows her stuff, I felt it from the moment that she touched my hair. She listens, feels and does her magic. Addie & Stephanie are truly phenomenal! Both are sweethearts with very warm personalities. Their goal is to make sure you're the best version of yourself, & they will never coax you into anything you don't want to do. Stephanie has maintained my tresses for a few years now, whether on set at photoshoots, video shoots, or at award shows, & I trust her with my head completely! I love her haircuts, and have complete faith in her when it comes to color. Just recently, she took me from the blue-black we've been doing for years, to golden honey, which many considered to be next to impossible, but she made it work. And on top of great color, I still have long, shiny, healthy hair to the middle of my back! Amazing! For me, privacy is extremely important, and I love that The Golden Peacock has such a private, cozy, and relaxing atmosphere. I tell my friends and family to wait until they come to the salon before they do anything to their hair! lol! more

I've been going to Addie for six years, and can honestly say I've never left her salon dissapointed. She has an incredible talent for listening to you and understanding the style you are going after, and then being able to infuse her own creativity into the finished product. She also cuts my husband's hair, and he can be very finicky about who cuts and styles his hair. We love going to see her, because she is so funny and smart and always makes us feel right at home. Since I moved to L.A. many years ago , I was spoiled by a top hair person in Chicago...I searched in many salons in BH ,Westwood, OC ,etc,etc. ...starting to have Addie do my hair over six years ago, I have never been so happy !! She gets what I want and how to even make it more amazing then I dreamed.
