If you could put your finger on the vital pulse of SXSW and capture the gritty underground spirit of indie rock and distill it into its purest form, and used that to create a restaurant, it would be the Limestone Kitchen at Marriott Airport South. The food is offbeat and inventive, definitely for the adventurous diner. The blue corn tortilla encrusted snapper was lo-fi but tortilla encrusted, and is a must have. The diablo shrimp pasta...fuck, just get it, you'll thank me later. It was inspired by a Pavement B side. We saw the Wallflowers there so they get some big names. Also, they accept Continental Airlines Vouchers.
Pros: authentic indie rock-edness, accepts vouchers
Cons: A little too underground/esoteric
