CitySearch great guide to a great haircut! 6/28/2011

I will not be going anywhere else to get my hair cut. The person I had been using left town and I got 'butchered' twice at the same salon. Had to wait for my hair to grow enough to get it fixed. THAT IS JUST WHAT CHRISTOPHER DID. He took time to understand what I wanted and then gave me suggestions about how to accomplish that. I loved the cut, the environment, and the service. Scheduled my next appointment before I walked out the door. Don't miss the chance to visit the Loft for service and a comfortable setting!! more

Thrilled with service!! 3/28/2011

I went to see Christopher after having bad experience with other hairdressers. He listened to want I wanted and was able to give me exactly what I wanted. He was able to fix hair color to what I requested and what was best for me. I also got the best haircut I have ever had. Very reasonable prices for service. Will be seeing Christopher again! more

Christopher was terrific! 3/24/2011

I had my first appointment with Christopher today. He took the time to evaluate my face shape, listened to what I like/hate about my hair (I have a love/hate relationship with the natural wave), how much time I like to spend styling and the versatility I was looking for. I love the cut he gave me, and amazingly so did my husband! He normally hates when I decide to go shorter, but not this time. I was dubious about the location, on the 2nd floor of the Brakes Plus building, but I never let that put me off a good stylist! You get into the salon and forget that you are anywhere near an auto shop! Bottom line, the staff was friendly, Christopher was on time and he took the time to figure out what would suit my face and my lifestyle and I got a great cut that even my hubby likes! Wonderful Experience!! 1/13/2011

I cannot say enough about my wonderful experience at the Loft, especially with my hair stylist, Erin. I left the salon extremely satisfied and confident with my look. I went in to vamp up my style and color. Erin was able to suggest a color option that gave both dimension and life back to my hair! She also added layers to my hair and showed me a couple different ways to curl it that now gives me multiple options when I style it. She spent a lot of time on my hair, focusing on the details, and making sure we were both satisfied with the end result. I have received multiple compliments from friends and coworkers on my hair and have recommended Erin to them all. I could really tell that she cares about her quality of work and the final result. I will definitely be returning to Erin and the Loft! more

Fantastic Haircut! 10/22/2010

I was looking for a new short hairstyle that would be edgy, sophisticated and flattering for my head of silver hair. After reading reviews on Christopher from the Loft Hair Studio, I took a chance and am so glad I did. He gave me the best haircut of my life. He took time to ensure that the style was suited to my facial structure, hair texture & growth and amount of time (nil) I'm willing to spend on it. I loved the cut immediately but told Christopher that my husband's reaction would be the true test. My husband has never forgiven me for cutting my long hair 30 years ago and has told me my short hair looked ""OK"" only about twice in my life. His response was an astounding, ""Looks really good"". But most importantly, I absolutely love it! Thank you Christopher!! more

Best Men's Style Cut in Denver/Metro 8/26/2010

I am very particular about my hairstyle and my wife also evaluates how I look (but she is a hotty so she can do that). I used go to a hair stylist in Denver, who has since retired. But thank God for Christoper. His natural skill and experience puts him at the top for men's hair styling. Whether you are a working professional or picky about your hair, I give Christopher my highest form of recommendation and praise. more

What a great find! 7/30/2010

I recently moved to town and was looking for a new hairstylist who could cut and color my hair. I have very dark hair but also like subtle highlights that don't make me look so brassy so I need to make sure I go to a real professional. I am so happy I foundChristopher. At our first meeting, he sat down and evaluated not only my hair type/color, but face shape and my lifestyle - a VERY thorough assesment. Technically, he did an outstanding job giving me the color and cut that not only I wanted but he also made suggestions that made it easier for me to duplicate that ""just out of the salon"" look. If you're looking for a professional stylist who LISTENS to you, doesn't go on drowning about local gosspip and/or their own personal problems, Christopher is the stylist for you! He's a great find! more

Not given an opportunity to fairly judge 7/29/2010

I read many reviews about The Loft, and thought I'd give it a try. I am new to Colorado and have been doing my research on a good salon, since I don't know alot of people here. I scheduled and appointment with Sarah for a Saturday afternoon. 30 minutes prior to my appointment, I get a phone call, Sarah can't keep the appointment, due to her shoulder hurting. Understand...things happen. Rescheduled for Wednesday evening. I get a phone call Wednesday afternoon saying something came up with Sarah, and we need to reschedule. No thanks... Cancelling twice on a new client is not very good customer service in my opinion...I wish I would have been given the opportuntity to judge based on the service that was done, not on how I was treated prior to my appointment. more

There is no way Christopher has 20 years of expirence! 7/8/2010

I would never recommend anyone here. Christopher FRIED my hair! I went in for a color and left with a horrible dye job and my hair destroyed. I had to go to another salon and chop my hair off because of the damage. Not only did I waste my money but I had to get an extremely short hair cut to look decent again. He was late calling me back, couldn't find the place and the time he took to ruin my hair was BAD, BAD, BAD. Please do not waste your time, money or appearance at this joke of a ""Hair Studio"" more

Amazing service and style!! 6/23/2010

I recently started going to Christopher after I needed a change as I had been going to the same stylist for over 10 years. No doubt about it - he is just wonderful, and I trust his judgement and opinion implicitly regarding my hair. It's amazing how much of a difference a really great (not just good) hair cut makes - I have received many compliments after Christopher began styling my hair AND it's easier for me to style. In addition, he takes your face shape and lifestyle into account. My previous stylist would do what SHE wanted, not what I wanted. Please go see Christopher - you won't regret it!!! more

Worse haircut ever!! 6/18/2010

I agree with jwow72. Christopher just recently did my hair and I have never been so disapointed and upset. I just moved here and thought due to the reviews he would be great. Wow...did I get that wrong. Goes to show that you shouldn't trust the reviews out there because you don't know if they are ""real"" or if the guy wrote them himself!! I agree...don't go to this salon. You will regret it!! more

Sarah is Absolutely the Best!!!!! 6/17/2010

\r Sarah has been doing my hair for a couple of years. She was recommended to me by my sis-in-law. I had a very aggravating experience with my previous stylist and Sarah came to my rescue and repaired a very botched cut and color. I get many compliments on my hair now, and I recommend Sarah to everyone who will listen. Pros: Very Professional, knowledgeable and always happy! Cons: There are none. more

Over 10 years of awesome hair styling!!!! 6/17/2010

Sarah has been my stylist for over ten years!!! I am a crazy blonde hair lover and everytime i leave the salon i have at least 3 people compliment me on my hair and the style, cut ,color, everything. We hit a bump in the financial rode a few years back and i wasn't able to see Sarah, boy did my hair struggle. As soon as i returned to Sarah my hair was revived and had life again. She cares about her services and time she gives to all her customers. She had a felxible schedule and really listens to the customers needs and wants. I have recommended her to all of my friends and family. Thank you Sarah!!!!!!!! Pros: Compassion for people and their ""do's"" Cons: No cone only pro's :) more

Amazing Experience 6/17/2010

As a male that has cut his hair for the past 20 years, it took a lot for me to find a Salon that can offer me new options to my hair... Well after a long search, I finally found that with the Loft Hair Studio. From the minute I walked in I was amazed by the gentle, relaxing atmosphere. The experience continued throughout the cut and style. When I left, not only was I relaxed, I was extremely satisfied with the results. I would recommend The Loft Hair Studio to anyone that is looking for the TOTAL experience.... I can say I will definitely never be cutting my own hair again.. I highly recommend Sarah as your stylist!!!! Pros: Amazing Atmosphere, Great Stylists Cons: Nothing!!! more

pleased first time customer 3/9/2010

I'm new to Colorado and it's hard to get re established after going to the same stylist for 27 yrs. I read reviews on line for The Loft and called to schedule an appt. Sarah was able to get me in within a couple days, which is a plus. Comfortable setting, friendly environment. My hair has a mind of it's own but I'm very pleased with my hair cut. I would highly recommend Sarah!! more
