Best for basic hardware/carpentry needs 6/21/2005

This store is way too big and crowded, but it's your best bet for basic carpentry or hardware needs. I think that this is where you get the best savings and selection. As for gardening needs, I reccommend Lowe's. They usually have a better selection. This Home Depot has helpful people if you can actually find one to talk to you, since they are always so crowded. more

Home Depot 4/14/2005

Home Depot is great for home improvement supplies. They have weekend classes you can join to learn how to do Do it Yourself projects. If what you are looking for is not in stock, they will order it for you. You can rent their trucks if you need a utility vehicle to carry your supplies. The employees are very helpful, and the prices aren't bad. Also, they have a great landscape department. more
