LOVE, LOVE,LOVE THESE GUYS! 5/17/2008

I love both the vibe and grooming - I took in my Japanese Chin Zak who really needed the works and he came back clean, great cut and with a huge smile on his face. Rather than just sitting in a cage while waiting to get his shower and shave he got to ""play"" with other pups and had a great, and unexpected, playdate! He was beautifully and meticulously groomed - that HE'S happy make mommy happy. He got the works for $50 and it was worth twice that to see how happy he was. They also take great interest in the pups - Zak was very shy and nervous but they immediately made him feel welcome. I highly recommend Doghouse L.A.! Pros: Take pets in immediately, opportunity for pet to play Cons: Better parking more

Good for a little local day care... 5/11/2008

I found this a good option when I don't have another. A little small, and all dogs of all sizes and temperments are mingled, which kinda bothers me. There was no screening process and I did worry for my dogs safety but it has worked out for the most part. Michelle is a doll. Pros: proximity to work/home Cons: a little too small more

THE WORST grooming ever. 11/25/2007

I took my maltese to get groomed at the Dog House, and got back a pup that barely resembled my dog. I asked them to take off about half an inch of hair - instead, my maltese was everything but shaved - not to mention that the cut was choppy and her ears were trimmed unevenly! I shouldn't have to pay $55 to have an amateur ""groom"" my dog. Makes me wonder how good they are at everything else... Pros: pretty nice staff Cons: disorganized; terrible groomer, smells really bad more

The Best 1/29/2007

My dog Jackson has been going there for five years. He cannot wait to get there in the morning. He comes home happy, healthy and tired. The staff are like his extended family. I highly recommend The Dog House. The staff is friendly and go the extra mile in service. I know my pet wil be well taken care of. Pros: Great caring staff more

This place rocks 1/9/2007

I am a regular and they treat me like family. Of course they are going to ask for vaccination records, I wouldn't trust my pets in a facility that dosen't. My dog comes home tired and is happy to be dropped off in the morning. I love this place. more

Too small, too rude 4/23/2006

After just moving to the area, I stopped in ask about grooming services here. And a woman came out from the dog play area where there was dozens of dogs all packed together in a big bunch & barking. I asked her if I could bring in my Lab for grooming when she asked me if I had my vets paperwork regarding vacinations. I said ""well I just moved so I dont have them at the moment"" She came back with "" ....that sucks!! "" ""I cant keep the dog in my pen w/ other dogs with out that, so get it then come back in"". The place just came across hectic and rude so I know I never go there. Good luck. more

Great Pet Boarding! 4/21/2006

I was going on a trip and felt terrible about boarding my dog. I shopped around and found The Dog House. I particularly loved that it was cage free! The Dogs get to play together, grouped by size and personality. Seeing that he would get to play all day made me feel much better. This place is priced a bit higher than a caged place, but if you feel that your pet is part of your family, this place is fantastic! PROS: cage free CONS: more

doggy heaven 7/29/2002

after first moving into the area I was vexed as to a well kept convienent location to drop my beagle while movers went in and out or I had to run dog free errands...this place was so user friendly..I highly recommend it my beagle has never been happier more
