My husband and I called the Carpet Guys after getting 3 other quotes. They had the best price and Shawn offered great service during the appointment. An issue arose after installation, and Joe handled it promptly and courteously. He was at my house at 9:30 on a Sunday night working on a solution. Even though it was a small job, they treated me like I was a VIP; I like that:-) From the time I called to the time I was vacuuming was only a few days, and it was less expensive then I had imagined. more

I ama recently divorced female who just recently moved to the Detroit Area. I bought a house in Sterling Heights and needed some new carpeting. I called a familiar company on TV and had a horrible experience where I actually had to kick the high pressure sales person out of my home. I looked online and contacted 3 other shop from home carpet stores. The one I felt most comfortable with was The carpet Guys. My initial phone call was pleasant and they sent their designer to my home the same day. VERY IMPRESSIVE! When Sean arrived he was very polite. Extremely courteous and professional. Sean answered all of my questions and left me with a quote of 1,880.00 for my Great room and hallway. Since I had no idea what the price of carpet should be for my new home, I called a few other companies as well. One company gave me a price of over $5,000 and then when I said that was way too high they started dropping their prices all the way down to $2,500.00 The other companies were all between $1500- $3,000. I chose to go with The carpet Guys because number one they were very professional. Two- they had a competitive price (not the cheapest but still within my range). Three- I liked Sean, he was very nice and never once made me feel pressured or uncomfortable like the others. Four- They met all of my needs and didn't dance around any of my questions. They were very up front and honest with me. I will be using The carpet Guys again in he next month or two once my bedrooms are painted and basement gets finished. The Carpet Guys had great installers as well. My new carpet looks amazing and they even did my steps for free since there was some left over from my oddly shaped hallway. The Carpet Guys are extremely professional and provide great service. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them to anyone who may be shopping for new carpet in Sterling Heights or any of the areas in Metro Detroit that they service. more

We lived in a different state when we called The carpet Guys! We were looking for a good carpet company who would work with us through via telephone and email. We called Empire Today but they refused to help us unless they could meet with us in person first. Looking back on that, I am happy we didn't use Empire Today carpet because we found all the awful reports about them online after words. Anyway, The Carpet Guys met with our realtor at our new home and took all the measurements. He worked with our decorator to help with the color samples and then sent us pieces in the mail for us to inspect ourselves. Our decorator and our realtor both got a good feeling from Joe (The Carpet Guy Rep) as did my husband and I so we decided to go with what he recommended for us. When we got to our new home in Macomb Michigan, we were MORE than happy. It looked even better than we anticipated and they even left us a nice thank you card and sent us a house warming gift from Edible Arrangements to thank us for the business and to welcome us to the neighborhood. The Carpet Guys of Macomb are a class A company from start to finish and they had excellent pricing too. Thank you for all the extra leg work- we will HIGHLY recommend The Carpet Guys for anyone who needs carpet or flooring installation in Macomb, Shelby or the surrounding areas. WELL WORTH IT! more

Be confident that if you call this company, you are calling the best! I will definitely recommend The Carpet Guys to all of my friends and family! As a single female, I was intimidated by the carpet buying process. I knew very little about carpet, and was afraid that I would be forced to deal with a high pressure salesman or a big box store employee with little knowledge. Joe was honest and thorough with explaining everything from start to finish, and he didn't try to sell me more than what I needed. I was able to have my carpet installed the next day, and the installers were outstanding! They even moved my furniture for me - which was another worry for me.
