Texas Roadhouse in Taylorsville 9/7/2010

Everything was tasteless. There was more fat than meat in the Prime Rib. Would never go back or recommend to anyone. Poor management. more

filthy manager 8/20/2007

I wrote a review and I take it you losers don't like the truth.A manager took a p and returned to the kitchen without washing his hands,I take it you don't want the public to know this, tell me how much does texas roadhouse bribe you to keep negative feedback about their filthy managers out of this site. Cons: lousy slow service, rude waitress, managers do not wash their hands after using the mens room more

Steaks are tough 11/11/2005

After disappointment in the Sirloin Steaks the past three visits my husband and I decided to try the New York Strip Steaks. Again the staff was great, salads were good, ribs were good as well as the potatoes, however the steaks were a big disappointment. More than half of our steaks were fat and grissle. The meat was served room temperature, not hot. From our last four experiences it would seem that the quality or the grade of the meat has changed. Unfortunatly it is probably time to consider another steakhouse. Pros: great staff, great sweet potatos, very good salads Cons: tough sirlion, tough, fat New York , grade of meat more

Best Steakhouse I've been to in Utah 6/27/2004

My husband and I eat at Texas Roadhouse quite often. We have yet to have a bad experience and recommend this place to all of our friends and family. I have had their ribs, steaks, fish and chicken and everything has always tasted great! The place is packed on weekend evenings, but well worth the wait. My husband usually go around 4 if we can any day of the week. We've always had great service and plan to continue going there. I've had Ruby River's steak and it's ok (not much better than my own),but it's nothing compared to Texas Roadhouse. Texas Roadhouse's Ribs are to die for! Pros: Ribs, Service, overall food quality more

Texas Roadhouse 3/7/2004

Everything I have ordered has been great. They serve warm rolls with cinammon butter while you wait for your food and they are great! I could eat them all day long. more

BEST DAMN RIBS ANYWHERE! 1/21/2003

TEXAS ROADHOUSE HAS THE BEST RIBS AND I MEAN THE BEST! THEY JUST FALL OFF THE BONE. THEY ARE SO TENDER. THEIR BBQ SAUCE IS AWESOME. DON'T GO TO THIS PLACE IF YOU DON'T LIKE ALOT OF NOISE. IT IS A VERY NOISY PLACE. IT'S A FUN ATMOSPHERE. THE EMPLOYEES LINE DANCE TO THE CHATAHOOCHEE WHICH IS A VERY ENTERTAINING THING! CAN'T STRESS HOW WONDERFUL THOSE RIBS ARE! SERVICE CAN BE SLOW DEPENDING ON WHEN YOU GO BUT IT'S WORTH THE WAIT. VERY REASONABLY PRICED. Pros: WONDERFUL RIBS, GREAT BBQ SAUCE, GREAT MEAT Cons: VERY LOUD, LONG WAITS(SOMETIMES), NO RESERV. ALLOWED more

Don't order the chicken 12/16/2002

My in-laws were in town and we decided on Texas Roadhouse for dinner because they had great experiences at the Denver and CA locations. We were all disappointed. I assume that if they can cook a cow they can cook a chicken. Not so at this restaurant. I ordered the grilled barbecue chicken and received what appeared to be (at least in taste and texture) the sole of a shoe slathered in BBQ sauce. It was burnt and very dry. My dinner companions had better success with the steak and pork, but we all commented on the small portions of the side dishes. I had always heard that they did things BIG in Texas. I was glad Dad was paying for the meal. We don't plan on going back to this Texas Roadhouse location, though we may try the one in CA Pros: good pork: acdg 2 mom, free peanuts Cons: small portions, dry, burnt chicken, slow service more

Better than Texas! 8/24/2002

I think these guys hit the mark! Fresh hot bread, great ribs, and peanuts... yummy! If you like loud county music, and good food at great prices, you got to check this out. Not too bad of a wait on weekends, but I say it's worth it. Pros: Hot bread!, Inexpensive, yummy ribs! Cons: wait on weekends more

Fabulous 8/8/2002

I love the ribs. The bread about melts in my mouth. The baked sweet potatoes are a nice difference in taste, too. more

excellent 8/8/2002

Ribs are the best I have tasted in many states. Food is always fresh and when there has been a problem, management is more than helpful and service is always very friendly. more

Best Ribs Ever!! 7/25/2002

This restaurant has the best food for the best prices!! The ribs actually have alot of meat on them and the sauce is the best I have had. The service is great, and the atmosphere is so fun. Even though I don't like country music, the food is worth it. Pros: inexspensive, great food, great service Cons: crowded, not much parking, country music more

delicious 6/17/2002

The food is wonderful. The servers appear to actually be having fun and enjoying being at work and their attitude reflects on their customers and wanting to come back. Pros: fun, good atmosphere Cons: pricey, no parking more

She What? 6/5/2002

We had a group of 10 and wanted to have dinner. We arrived about 6:30 and asked for a table. We waited and about 15 min. later, a group of 8 who had arrived after us was seated. At that time I asked what was wrong. The front door girl first brushed me aside to help someone who just walked in the door, then began to tell me that the only person who could handle a table that size was crying for some reason and could not work. She said her manager was working on it. 10 minutes later we had still not been seated. So we left and let the manager know of the situation. Pros: Free peanuts Cons: Expensive, Poor Service more
