This is my husband's favorite restaurant and is where we go to get a fix on meats. The prime rib and ribeyes are better than other restaurants and are almost as tender as those in fancy steak houses, but with about 1/2 the steak house price. Also good are the salads, baked sweet potatoe, and steak fries. Surprisingly the BBQ ribs and the burgers are inferior to other restaurants. Be aware that the BBQ chicken and ribs plate is served with chicken breast, and not 1/2 of a chicken. Finally ,desserts are huge and are very satifying. Try the Big-Ol Brownie (warmed, served with vanilla ice-cream). It would be better if the menu changed a bit.
Pros: great bread, steaks, prime rib, salads, desserts, reasonable price
Cons: Long waits during dinner time, has no tables to accomodate parties more than 7 or 8.
