Ten A Sheila Powers Salon

I used to get my hair done there but after finding out that there was black mold inside of the building, I had to leave. Not only that but when I would get a glass of water or soda, it would come out in a dirty glass. The glasses weren't even properly cleaned! I saw lip stick on most of the glasses I was being given on multiple occasions. I have been a client of theirs for about 6 years but I am through with them! Don't go to there! The boss Sheila Powers is rude and the whole salon is extremely catty. They hire shampoo girls who don't even have a cosmetology license. This means that if you get your hair color done, these girls by law aren't supposed to touch your hair to wash the color out because they don't know what they are doing. You never know what kind of service you are going to get there. It could be good one day and terrible the next. This place isn't consistent ever and they are just terrible. \r \r There are so many other salons out there that are neat, clean, have a friendly staff, and you know what kind of service you are going to get. And above all they hire licensed cosmetologists even if they just shampoo! more

Ten is the only place I go to do anything with my hair. My stylist always listens to what I have to say and I always leave with exactly what I came in to get. The establishment is very clean, well kept and beautiful! Not only do they offer hair care, but they have other services such as pedi/mani and waxing. Best salon around by far. Pros: Wonderful atmosphere, friendly staff, great products. Cons: VERY small parking lot, prices are high. more
