I have been going to TSA since it opened, I have never had a problem with honesty or lack of competence. The only problem I have ever had there is that Eli can get VERY busy and it can be difficult to get your car into the shop. He never did anything above the job ordered ( except once, he put a sticker, I needed, on without asking). I totally trust the work he does and the bills he gives. Pros: Great quality of work Cons: Its a tough spot to work with, cars can be left in the street where they can fall prey to the dreaded meter maids more

I called Teele Sq Auto and spoke to Eli and told him I needed a distributor for my honda that was not running. He said he would send a tow company that he had always used. Shortly after the tow truck pulled up and they left with my car. I called Eli back later that day to see how much it would cost and he quoted me and said it would be ready later that day. I went to pick up my car just after dark, and it was parked on the side. Upon paying the price I was quoted was much less then what they were trying to charge me. I paid it and was going to dispute the charge later so I could leave. When I went to my car I noticed it had been in an accident. I went to the attendant very upset, and he called Eli who came. I called the police and they also came. Eli told me that the car was like that when it arrived and he knew of no damages. I was furious and wouldnt let up. Eli then contacted the tow truck driver who also came. He explained that he backed up and had an accident w/ the wall with my car and Eli was present. Eli then changed his story and I exchanged insurance papers w/ the tow truck company. I received a check from the insurance company and a notice that my car was a complete loss. They only paid me 300 for my car stating it was a 1990 and had faded paint and a few blemishes. So now I am unable to sell my car w. a salvage title. Eli also offered no apology. I would not recommend and I am filing a complaint w/ the better business bereau. Cons: not trustworthy, rude, dis honest more

I have been going to Teele Square Auto for my aging Camry for several years now. They have restored my faith in repair shops. They never recommend repairs that are not needed. In fact, if a repair is going to be expensive and unnecessary to the safety of the car then Eli will let you decide whether or not you should proceed. Never have scare tactics been used on me to get a repair done. I'm treated with respect and with confidence that I will be able to make a sound decision. I am a woman and have been subjected to ill treatment at other repair shops over the years. Fortunately I know a thing or two about cars. I have absolute faith in Teele Square Auto. more

I was treated absolutely horribly by a man working here. It would take me 20 pages to explain everything, but my gut feeling when I left was that he was very sexist or misogynistic. To make a very long story short, I had my car towed there and they replaced the alternator. When I came to pick the car up, I waited for about 5-10 minutes by the door while the only employee working pumped gas for a line of cars. Then, when he finished, he actually waited for a car that was still about 20 feet from the driveway//entrance to pull up to the pumps rather than help me and then started to pump his gas. At that point I was wondering whether or not he even saw me, so I called over to him and asked if I could pick up my car. He was extremely nasty in tone back and yelled at me that I should stand there and wait my turn. He basically just kept refusing to help me and the longer he made me wait/nastier he spoke to me, the more I raised my voice and returned his tone - something that seemed to infuriate him. He ended up refusing to give me my keys, ordered me to leave, and when I refused to leave without my car, he actually called 911! (he was reprimanded by the 911 operator) The story goes on and on (the owner/manager, Eli, who I spoke with on the phone, apologized profusely and told me the employee was going to be in big trouble, and then assured me he was on his way from saugus; i left and came back, and when I got there, he changed his tune and said that his employee said I was yelling at him, and started actually defended him! I urged him to watch the tape, as I noticed a camera rolling, for the true version). It was seriously a nightmare and it upset me for days - I was very shaken up. I hope this review encourages others to think twice before giving them their business; I will never go here again, no matter how cheap their gas might be. more
