My GP put me on medication for depression which made me even more depressed. She referred me to Dr Tearnan whom I've seen for 6 weeks now. he helped me recognize why i was depressed, tackle my negative thoughts, change my attitude and beliefs! It s a day-by-day process, but i'm so much better and no longer popping pills. He is my guide and mentor. I highly recommend him and his treatment modal! Sue more

One of The BEST in His Field!!! 5/21/2012

If you want a doctor that understands the pain you are in then this one is for you. Do you also suffer from PTSD well I have been seeing Dr. Tearnan for awhile and he gets it!!! Learning to cope with what you have and that it may not ever get better it you don't work on you. He knows how to work with my pain and my PTSD but still calls me on anything I need to be called out on. If you want a laid back do nothing doctor then he probably isn't your style. Somebody that gets in there and does the work and makes you step up to the plate and look at yourself and that it is you that needs to change - That is why he is so good at what he does. He doesn't just leave you there but then helps you try and make those changes. It takes work and I am glad I have someone as knowledgable and whom I trust completely to help me - Thank you Dr. Tearnan!!!! Pros: null Cons: null more

God Bless Dr. T! 5/21/2012

I was referred to Dr. Tearnan for anxiety and panic attacks. I had been to my family practitioner and cardiologist to find out why I was experiencing chest pains, shortness of breath and ringing in my ears. I thought I was having a heart attack; I was so scared. But after a thorough physical, it was discovered my body was in fit condition. Pros: null Cons: null more

Beware of hidden charges 4/26/2012

I made one visit to Dr. Blake Tearnan and spent approximately 40 minutes with him. Decided he wasn't the Doctor I wanted to work with. There was no one at the front desk when I drove myself to pick up some paperwork that they stated needed to be filled out and returned prior to a visit. I picked up the paperwork that had my name on it sitting on the front desk. Again there was no one around so I could have actually gone through the desk, which of course I didn't. Thought this was rather strange. Took the paperwork home and filled it out. Then drove back to his office and just left it on the front desk. Again, no one was there. Pros: null Cons: null more

Thank you, Dr. Tearnan 2/24/2012

After 2 failed back surgeries, I was told to see Dr. Tearnan, a medical psychologist who practices pain management. At first, I thought my surgeon was telling me the pain was in my head. Reluctantly, I went and am grateful I did! I have biweekly sessions with Dr T now and his self-help book remains on my nightstand. He helped me to understand all factors that influence my pain; moreover, he has taught me coping skills to manage my pain and live with it. Thank you! Pros: null Cons: null more

Bought and paid for 7/27/2011

Dr. Tearnan was hired by my husbands employer to assess whether my husband could return to work. The story is long and I won't relate it here but essentially it was obvious BEFORE my husband went to Dr. Tearnan that his employers wanted him gone. Dr. Tearnan couldn't have done his part better if he had been paid by them. Oh wait, he was. His office was chaotic. Patient files were left unattended on the receptionists desk for anyone to view. Dr. Tiernan himself was late coming in and when he did he took another patient before my husband. When the receptionist returned she was aghast and said that the Dr. had taken the wrong patient! Needless to say, the dr said my husband wasn't fit for duty. However, his report was full of errors and he said that he performed tests on my husband that he did not perform. The employers wanted Dr. Tiernan to find my husband unfit and that's exactly what he did. Bought and paid for. We have since gone to a psychiatrist who found Dr. Tearnan's findings totally erroneous. Dr. Tearnan is playing with people's lives and all for a few dollars. Stay away from this man. He's the crazy one! more
