I got MUCH more than just solos. The teacher was really helpful in helping me understand the theory behind the songs (key, modes, etc.) and how to improvise and build on them. I also got good, practical exercises to help me build my technical skill. more

A lesson plan and a handful of lessons worked around my mostly insane schedule, and I am playing music! (And it's rather more fun than just shouting along.) The teacher is endlessly patient, encouraging, and positive. And focuses on what I want to learn, while providing me useful exercises to build my technical ability. Taking lessons with this teacher is fun, but it is also absolutely the best thing I could have done to jumpstart my playing.\r more
