I got MUCH more than just solos. The teacher was really helpful in helping me understand the theory behind the songs (key, modes, etc.) and how to improvise and build on them. I also got good, practical exercises to help me build my technical skill. more

I wanted to play 12/3/2012

I have been trying to learn guitar on and off for many years. I took a class in college for guitar 101, and have had two other teachers. This one is the best thing that could have happened to me. I got exercises to do daily that helped me get my fingers to do the right things. Within a two weeks, I could sort of play and sing four of the songs in the book that I brought with me of songs I wanted to play. more

easy going nature 11/30/2012

I came to this teacher about a year ago having never picked up a guitar, let alone any musical instrument in my entire life. I was very apprehensive at first since I was a total beginner and had no idea what to expect, but that feeling was soon alleviated by the teacher's welcoming and easy going nature. more
