Honest, Reliable, Reasonable Prices 11/15/2010

Based on the recommendation of a coworker who had been going to Don for years, I took my care there for repairs to a broken axle and the blower for my A/C. (And of course, had my brakes checked while I was there). The repairs were done very quickly, and Don called to give updates throughout the process. He even called around to find a used wheel for the car so I wouldn't have to buy one from the dealer! I appreciate his work ethic, honesty, and of course, his fantastic skills! I feel lucky to have found a mechanic I can trust and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Taylor Brake. ~Jenny more

Super honest and excellent service 11/11/2010

Taylor Brake Service does more than just brakes, but also engine tuneups, repair, transmission service, and so much more. And, they do it with the best workmanship and kind, curteous service attitude. Not many of the tried and true super friendly mechanic shops are left these days and this independent shop is top shelf in honest repair estimates and costs while providing well done repair service. I've been taking my cars to them for the last year and it has to be the best quality and customer service I've ever had from a mechanic...and as an added bonus he's honest. I'll be coming back as long as he is in business. more

Many, many people in my company take their cars to Taylor Brake and will never hesitate to sing their praises. With such loyal customers, how could I not try them. Two years later, I'm now a (loud) member of that choir. more

TB is unbelievable. They don't try to frighten you into buying things you don't need, they are uncommonly flexible in both service and payment and they are really understanding. They just seem to be people who fix cars rather than cogs in a corporate machine. more

Great Service 2/4/2010

What a great family business. Honest , funny , nice and with great follow through. I bought a used car for my son out there from another family business by the Costco on Aurora and it has turned out to be a lemon. Don has worked on this car and is just a great guy to work with. Anyone looking to fix their car , I would suggest going to Taylor Breaks. Not only will you be supporting a local business you will be getting a honest hard worker who does a great job. more

I have been taking my car to Taylor Brake for the past 5 years. I recommend Taylor Brake to all of my friends and co-workers. Don and Cindy are honest, reliable, and provide me with information I need to make an informed decision about my auto repairs. They explain things in laymans terms and their prices are less than the competition. They are awesome! more

I highly recommend Taylor Breaks!! I took my car to Sears because it was making a terrible noise, they quoted $1,700 to fix my car. I then took it to Taylor for a second opinion, they fixed it for less than half the rate Sears quoted. more

Last Honest Mechanic 10/20/2008

I started taking my car to Don @ Taylor Brakes in 2002 after a co-worker recommended him. I have since moved to the eastside (Redmond) and I am still a loyal Taylor Brakes customer and will be as long as Don & Cindy are there. more

Taylor Brake is the Best! 9/26/2007

I have known Don and Cindy for many years, but didn't know about Taylor Brake until I was referred by a friend 3 years ago. I have had numerous vehicles repaired by Taylor over the past 3 years. I'm always given a prioritized list of what needs to be done. Don understands that the average Joe doesn't have thousands of dollars to put into preventative maintenance. Each repair is done well, on time and within estimates, which are usually 20 - 40% lower than other shops. They always greet you with a smile and send you off with a handshake and a thank you. If you're looking for an honest and qualified mechanic, look no further. Taylor Brake is tops in my book. more

Nice Honest Mechanics! 1/24/2007

I am always fearful of taking my car in for work, since I know very little about cars and I am afraid of getting scamed. But Taylor Brake Service was recommended by a friend, and when it became really obvious that my brakes needed some real work, I decided to call. Don, who I believe is the owner, was very nice. I brought my car in, within an hour he called me to tell me what it needed and give me a VERY reasonable estimate. I told him to go ahead with the work. He called before 10 am the next morning to tell me my car was ready! No lectures, no upsells, just a really nice guy who does great work. I can't say enough about how good this experience was, and I will definitely go back! more
