T.E.C. Electrical & Fabrication

Although TEC didn't have a bid as thorough as another out-of-town electrician's, I chose TEC because of their reputation in Alameda. I wanted a locally respected electrician for a smoother building inspection - and my choice paid off. I felt a bit pressured by time to make choices that made their lives easier rather than what I might have chosen if I'd been given more info about the ramifications of different choices. The work started on the day they said they'd start and finished the day they thought they'd finish and there were no hidden costs - I was very happy about that. One thing I'm not sure about is the installation of the electrical boxes/outlet covers - they seem to be a bit off kilter, one in particular, but they assure me that once the backsplash is installed, the covers can be adjusted. more

We were new to Alameda and needed some electrical work done. T.E.C. was very responsive. They arrived on schedule and worked as a team to competently complete the work. I would definitely recommend T.E.C. and would work with them in the future. more

If I have something that needs to be done, I call them first. Tom runs a tight ship and everyone we've worked with has been very professional, fast and service oriented. We are new home owners and have a rental property so they come in very handy. more

TEC Electrical & Fabrication do a good job the first time, and you don't have to bring them back for re-dos. I'm a developer and general contractor, and have been working with them for a while. They have completely rewired two 40 unit buildings for me, and have helped on two or three client jobs, as well. TEC has a large group of guys on their team, so I can feel confident that they are able to finish big jobs on time. They are serious about their safety protocols, too, and I can trust them to work with raw current, directly from the service pole. I can't say that about all electricians. In general, TEC are a knowledgeable, efficient company that I know will get the job done. I will continue to use them in the future. Dave Miller more

Tech Electrical & Fabrication worked on a remodel at our house years ago. The job was completed about 5 years ago, and recently we had some electrical issues in the garage which was the new build in the remodel. They came back out and service it for a very nominal fee, as they recognized that it was work they had done. After 5 years, they're continuing to serve us as clients even though it was not expected. more

We used them for a health Dept inspection. They were in and out very quickly. Very good communication. more
