Review content:
Although TEC didn't have a bid as thorough as another out-of-town electrician's, I chose TEC because of their reputation in Alameda. I wanted a locally respected electrician for a smoother building inspection - and my choice paid off. I felt a bit pressured by time to make choices that made their lives easier rather than what I might have chosen if I'd been given more info about the ramifications of different choices. The work started on the day they said they'd start and finished the day they thought they'd finish and there were no hidden costs - I was very happy about that. One thing I'm not sure about is the installation of the electrical boxes/outlet covers - they seem to be a bit off kilter, one in particular, but they assure me that once the backsplash is installed, the covers can be adjusted.
