Best

Just simply good food.

3rd bite, second half of my steak and cheese sub, I found myself chewing on a USED BAND-AID!

Editorial review from Citysearch 3/21/2013

Get the Tatstrami. The cheesesteak is fine and all, but I've had everything on the menu and I keep going back to the Tatstrami - no coleslaw with extra meat is my favorite, even though it hurts the wallet.\r \r Do be prepared to wait in line if you come during peak hours. You'll be waiting outside if you come at noon on a busy day. The line moves reasonably fast, but it can take 20 minutes or more to order, and another 10 before you can eat. more

Tat's Deli is amazing 4/22/2010

Recently back in Pioneer Square for work, and I have to say it's good to be home... Good ole Tat's Deli is just as delicious as when I moved from here back in 2005- Gawd they make a freakin' great sandwich!! Comfort food = Tatstrami!! A newbie back at the office, I was trying to impress the staff and ordered Tat's delivery for the monthly accounting meeting (which was free delivery!) and I've got to admit- they made me look real good. Thanks for the popularity points Tat's, we'll order from you again and will now have something exciting to look forward to at the meeting next month! Pros: Fast service, affordable, friendly, and oh so tasty... more

Best Cheesesteak in Seattle... truly Philly style! Pros: Cheez-Wiz! Cons: only open for lunch more

Best sandwich i've ever had... 10/29/2009

Wow! So upon reading reviews and gathering info from friends I finally decided to eat at Tat's. Easy to find, just one block from the Pioneer Square metro station, tucked nicely into the other beautiful brick buildings in Pioneer Square. I've been craving pastrami and I heard that the ""Tatsrami"" is amazing. I went in with nothing else on my mind but the Tatsrami and so that's what I ordered! I got there at 11am, no line, as a matter of fact I was the only person in the joint. I sat down and upon my first bite I became hooked! WOW...what flavor! The meat was great, the Russian sauce and cole slaw complemented the meat perfectly. The bread was just right! I'm a fan and I will tell everybody I know about this place! more

Best Philly cheesesteaks in Seattle! 4/10/2008

OMG, OMG we loved it. We have been looking for a great lunch place and have found it. The last good Philly cheesesteak place on the West Coast was in Cali. You have to try it out! Pros: service Cons: parking more

Best CheeseSteaks in town 4/4/2007

I'm a big fan. I go there about once a week with my coworkers. Its also a great place to get a sandwich before the Mariners play. My favorite is the chicken cheese steak and fries with Old Bay. Their regular cheese steak is good as well, but I like the chicken better. My friend from Jersey loves their food and has to get a stack of tasty cakes every time he goes. Pros: Great food Cons: Too many homeless begging for money as you try to eat. more

The Real Deal! 6/12/2006

I spent the majority of my life living 3 blocks from Pat's in Philly and I can tell you that Tat's is the REAL DEAL. Fresh sliced meats and killer bread...plus the whiz! I eat at this place at least 3 times a week and can't get enough. Yo...if your looking for Egg Salad bro then maybe this isn't your kinda joint but if ya want the real deal East Coast Grub, you won't find any better in Seattle. Pros: Great Food, Cool Music & Staff Cons: Closes at 4PM more

Bread alone is not enough 5/5/2006

I always held that a great sandwich needs great bread, and Tat's certainly has very good bread. The meats are okay, but worth the inflated prices. A few of us who ordered tuna salad and egg salad sandwiches found mostly lettuce and tomato in our sandwiches. If you order these, try asking the cashier to make sure there's more than nominal amounts of the good stuff. Pros: bread Cons: long wait to order, long wait to get food, prices more

FINALLY a great cheesesteak in Seattle 3/22/2006

Sweet mother mary and joseph. We have been saved. Tat's has delivered unto us a great great cheesesteak joint (among other sandwiches). Today was my first time going down there and the line was long. But the scent was right, so I waited. I got the 8"" philly with all the fixins, some fries seasoned with Old Bay, and a can of coke for $11 and it was worth every penny. They let you pick your cheese on your philly, and the mozzarella was just right. These fellas will be seeing more of this cat. Job well done. Pros: Cheesesteaks, Price, Quick Delivery Cons: Lines more

M's game and a Philly, you can't go wrong 12/26/2005

By far the best philly in Seattle! The peppers are always diced, the meat fresh and the cheese ozzing! The guys working behind the counter are always really friendly and pop out amazing sandwiches every time. I have to grab a sandwich to go everytime I go to an M's game and if you call ahead it seems to always be coming up the second I walk in the door. You have to try this place if you are looking for a GREAT philly. I have also had a Salami Sandwich, it was yummy. Everything else looks good, but I don't plan on trying anything else cause I'm hooked! Pros: Philly cheesesteak, Open before M's games, friendly more

darned good eggplant parm sandwich! 9/27/2005

It's so hard to find parm subs in Seattle. Tat's makes a lovely eggplant parm and offers chicken parm too (I haven't tried it). A crusty roll holds multiple layers of thinly sliced, breaded, fried eggplant, home-made sauce, and both provolone and parmigian cheeses. And the service is friendly too. Great lunch spot! Pros: Good food, Good service Cons: Little seating more

Show us Your TAT's 6/18/2005

Tatstrami is da bomb! 6/13/2005

Born and raised on the West coast. Look what I've been missing all these years! Tat's Deli rocks! It delivers super yummy sandwiches (especially the Tatstrami), stylish ambiance and a super friendly staff. more

Love Tat's 3/24/2005

Absolutely thrilled to have Tat's as a lunch option in Pioneer Square now. The sandwiches are fantastic and the new macaroni salad is just like your aunt used to make for the family reunion. I'm a big fan of the Tat's Italian, although the cheesesteaks are worth trying as well. The Eagles may be losers, but Tat's is a winner. Pros: Sandwiches, Fast Service, Location more

Great Place 3/18/2005

Authentic, amazing east coast style deli sandwiches - true philly cheesesteaks. This place has the feel of becoming a ""classic"". A good find for ""foodies"". Pros: location, food, ambience more
