Customer service training needed 1/25/2013

The store is not very clean and racks/display items are not organized. The selection is good though. However, the staff: from the cashier to the women putting merchandise on the racks, to the woman manning the dressing room, they are all not friendly at all. When you deal with them, you get the feeling that you are disturbing them from what they are doing by the body language they have. They don't smile, they don't even look at you at times. They are not pleasant to deal with. I am an HR professional for 20 years so I know if a store/organization has good custormer service or not. All staff in this store need to undergo extensive customer service training to improve the quality of service they provide. more

Great Deals 4/9/2006

Be prepared to dig through the merchandise. If you love to hunt this is the place for you. I always find something I just have to have when I come here. Whether it’s home accessories, children’s clothes, or adult’s clothes there is usually large selection. This store is not very clean, and the staff is not friendly, but if you want a deal this is it. I like the clearance racks. more

Not the nicest TJ Maxx I've been too 4/3/2006

This place used to be pretty much a dump, although I have noticed a significant improvement over the last year. It is now better organized and better stocked, with at least an attempt to display items attractively. They have a large selection of shoes and purses, which is usually what draws me in. The service is not great--the cashiers are certainly not overly friendly, and the lines can be a little slow. Still great deals here if you have the time and energy to seek them out. more
