T Carolyn Fashions

I had searched and searched all over Cincinnati, OH and could find nothing. Then a friend of mine in Sugarland said something about this T Carolyn place. So I had to check them out, there web site was great and one of the owners had written a book about mother's dress in what to wear and how special mother's are. So after talking with them on the phone a couple of times I decided to fly down and stayed with my friend. We went to the shop over in the Champions area on 1960 the shop was so cute a little old. Nevertheless nice and filled with dresses everywhere had to been over a thousand dresses. This Middle Eastern woman, Frede? asked us if we needed help and she showed us several dresses in my size and picked a perfect color. Oh, I looked like a Queen when I was finished. The price was very reasonable for what I bought. Then when I thought that I was finished this young man, I think he was one of the owner’s husband or son. I was not sure, picked jewelry and a purse that went with the dress perfectly. He even told me where I could find shoes. The experience was incredible, I wish there was a T Carolyn closer to me, when my other child gets married I will be back. When my son was getting married I had no idea what would look best on me and wished for a place where the staff would be honest and helpful. Boy, did I find the place. T. Carolyn is a jewel in a wasteland of formal wear shopping. ( That is probably why the store was full of customers who had come from all over Texas and even a foreign country the day I went there!) Margaret was the lady who assisted me and she sure knew the merchandise and colors. She actually picked a color I would never have chosen and a dress I wouldn"t have looked twice at. Yet, when I put it on I was literally transformed. She was respectful of my budget and showed me things in my price range. I ended up choosing the very first one I tried on. The. Tuesday after the wedding, when they re-opened, (they are closed on Sundays and Mondays) I just had to call Margaret to thank her. I explained to her that in my entire life no one had ever told me I looked pretty. Would you believe FIVE people told me I looked pretty. I will always be grateful to Margaret and to the owners who obviously go to such lengths to have beautiful dresses and gowns in all price ranges. Dresses that can transform an "ordinary" looking person to an "extraordinary" looking person. I would certainly encourage everyone to experience T. Carolyn.
