CRIMINALS! THEY WILL PUT YOUR LIFE AT RISK AND NOT CARE. INHUMANE. Changing medications after 12 years abruptly causing seizures, nausea...HEAD NURSE ADMINISTRATOR TELLS DOCTOR TO WRITE NARCOTIC SCRIPTS WITHOUT EVER SEEING A PATIENT Reverse prejudiced against Whites and Latinos, (like myself), DENIED DECENT or APPROPRIATE CARE. Forced to take medications causing SIDE EFFECTS while others leave even by ambulance with BAGS of drugs. RUDE MEAN STAFF WHO PLAY GOD and the State is funding this? I am a Christian Reverend and have personally SEEN and experienced this FIRST HAND. SHUT THEM DOWN and fund REAL DOCTORS. Nurse practitioners taking over for doctors but billing the SAME. NEGLIGENT and ABUSIVE. WORST HEALTH CARE IN US...BUT no one says anything because that's all there is? No! MAKE THEM TREAT EVERYONE WITH DIGNITY and get rid of administrators who bully and intimidate doctors and nurses , HEATHER LEVY is a cold, cruel NIGHTMARE who is a HUGE part of the problem and will stare you down while you are left to suffer, never return phone calls, deny records and services and walk away without ever helping even a disabled person out of a chair or to the door. NEW YORK NEEDS TO LOOK INTO THIS NOW!. TAX PAYERS NEED TO DEMAND RESPECT! WELFARE shouldn't mean HEALTHSCARE! more

SO HORRIBLE 2/2/2011

As a healthcare provider with over 10 years of experience, I know how healthcare facilities should operate. I was aghast with the service I was provided.\r The moment I walked in the door, I didn't know where to go so I went to the reception desk. The young male effeminate guy (and I'm gay, so i'mnot being disrespectful) looked at me like I was nuts. I asked him where I sh ould go, and he pointed in the general direction of the elevator.\r As I didnm't know where I was going, I walked past the elevator and into a supposed staff area, though there were no signs indicating so. An old bald fat security gaurd came out and asked me extremely rudely where I thought I was going. As he pointed the elevator out, he waddled back into his cubby and was talking about me with a coworker, saying that I thought I could go anywhere I wished and that they needed to put a sign up.\r Then I went to my appointment. The whole time I was with the assistant, she kept the office door open (a major HIPPA violation) and conversed with a coworker the whole time she was working with me. The provider came into the office and acted like she could care less about me, barely looking me in the eye. \r A HORRIBLE PLACE.They assume that because the population that goes there is underserved, they deserve to be treated as third class citizens. more

Is it really worth it? 6/4/2009

Every time I have gone there to walk in care, I have waited for extended amount of time. One time I waited for 6 hours before being seen by the doctor. He rushed right through me, prescribed a medication that tells you to not take it if you are allergic to any penicillins. (Which by the way, I'm allergic to all of them..) So I call the office, and I'm transferred very rudely to two different nurses who tell me I need to speak to the doctor and he's not in. They're lucky I only paid $20 for this horrible service. Pros: Inexpensive care Cons: wait time and staff more

Just so wrong. 6/25/2008

\r \r As a resident of the West Side and from the Spanish speaking population in Syracuse, I really thought that the community health center has the mission of providing the community with a excellent health care and professionalism. I call to make an emergency appointment for a person that just speak Spanish and the lady that answer the phone at 8:30 am was rude, disrespectful and didn't had any consideration for the patient condition. I explained to her the need of the client to speak to a Spanish speaking doctor without an interpreter because of the nature condition and she clearly state that "" that is not my business"". I really think that for a place that deals with so many clients, the staff needs to be oriented about human services and the reason of their job. It is pretty sad that the community has to deal with this kind of people during the moment when you just need help. Pros: ""spanish speaking provider"" Cons: terrible staff more
