NOT OPEN 24 HOURS 10/29/2011

They say they are open 24 hours, BUT they are NOT. Very frustrating, especially when you have time restrainst. Very disappointed!! Also, the equipment there is mainly for males. Nobody takes the weights off the machines, It is very hard to lift a 50 pound weight. I complained about it and nobody cares over there. more

read the fine print 1/15/2009

be careful joining synergy, check out the BBB website on synergy. if you want to cancel you must send a certified letter to their central office. if you call to cancel like i did and the person on the line says ok, make sure you get a receipt that your account is canceled. i canceled by phone and 4 years later a collection agency calls me and tells me that i owe money because in my contract in the fine print it says that the account auto renews unless you send a certified letter. more

24 hour workout 9/8/2005

Synergy Gym is open 24 hours so you never have an excuse that the gym is closed and you can't go. They have 2 floors of weights and cardio equipment so there usually isnt a wai for equipment. They have rows of treadmills, elliptical trainers, bicycles, and stairmasters for cardio workouts. more

Excellent workout 9/7/2005

A tremendous gym housed right on Hempstead Turnpike. They have 2 floors of exercise equipment including an entire floor of free weights. Rows of treadmills, stairmasters, bicycles, and elliptical trainers are always availbe for use. more

Excellent Gym 7/25/2005

If you are on the lookout for a new gym check out Synergy Fitness Center. There are tons of brand new machines all around the gym, and since there are duplicates of the same machines there is almost never a wait for a machine unless you come in a peak hour on a weekend. The only negative thing about this gym is that if you are a serious weight lifter, you might not like the young atmosphere in the gym as there are a lot of younger kids in the gym now. more
