Surf & Sea has become a well established one stop shop for any thing ocean adventure on the North Shore in Haleiwa Town. The down side is that the store has become so overly dependant on tourism, that prices are amazingly steep.\r

Diving for instance, every other major dive shop on island charges $3 to $4 a tank; with dive club rentals at $10 for unlimited air every month. Surf & Sea however, charges about $8.50 a tank. The mark up's dont end there. Reef brand sandles normaly pricing at arround $30.00 at almost any other store, is priced at $49.99 a pair.\r

The staff in the store is realy only knowlageable about swisuits and surfboards. When picking up a set of tanks at the store (out of convenience and poor planning), I soon discovered that they have untrained and uncertified staff handeling dive equipment.
