i came here to share a positive review and i cant believe the two previous commenters. they must be working for superiors competion whos rightfully scared of superior. is it a coincidence that both were posted the same day? the fact that@ postings had the same titile is usually cause people dunno what to write in a titile so they repeat what they see. now to the other commenter who says that place doesnt exist, i advise him to go down and check before he says something so outrageous. nobody writes a fake address cause they wont get their mail!me personally i had serious problems with my whirpool washer, it was making funny sounds, stalling, and didnt really work well. i called superior appliance repair, they got a repairman to me the next day and he fixed it and its been workin effiecently and smoothly ever since. the guy on the phone (nat) and the repairman were extremely nice and helpful. if you live in NYC. use superior, you wont be disappointed. more

Superior Appliance writes good reviews about themselves all over the internet but they are really a scam. They have an F rating from the Better Business Bureau. Their place of business does not even exist, if you look at Google Maps you will see. They send someone who does not know how to do anything and then charges $65 for a standard fee even if he does not fix the appliance. After the repair guy left, my microwave nearly exploded when it overheated! more

They are not even beyond writing fake reviews, what a coincidence two reviews both with the headline ""Superior Rox."" The appliance repair person that came did not understand anything about fixing electrical appliances. I found out later he overcharged me by $200 and did not do anything correctly!!! I had to find another person to do it. more

i usually dont write reviews but thats because usually you get crappy service repair people but lemme tell you,SUPERIOR APPLIANCE REPAIR ISNT YOUR USUAL REPAIR SERVICE! my maytag washer broke down,they came down within a day and the repair man was knowledgable, efficient and mostly, he gave me a very reasonable price. they are by far the best repair service in new york! more

i had a broken dryer, called superior, their technician was there the next morning and fixed it. they gave me a surprisngly reasonable price and their technician was very cordial and friendly. from here on out, ill only use superior! more

The positive reviews for this company are obviously phony: they are so over-the-top passionate and general with no references about the reviewers' specific experiences. Here's ours: We had our Viking stove ""repaired"" because one burner would not light. A week later a different burner was not lighting and the grill was now not working. After leaving repeated messages I finally got someone to schedule a subsequent visit by a repairman. He never showed up. The next day he was supposed to arrive by 2. At 6 he came, tried to bill me another $75, and said we needed a new part. Three weeks later, and we can't get anyone to return our calls. We've paid more than $300 and the stove works worse than before. Do not use this company. more

I had problems with my general electric washer/ dryer,i first called a different service repair (not to be named) they came down and couldnt do squat so i tried my luck with superior. Their repair guys came down and fixed it and its been workin great since. THANKS SUPERIOR!! more

My Whirlpool refrigerator I called Superior Appliance Repair@ 718-854 1600 when my Whirlpool refrigerator broke. The guy on the phone was very polite and he made an appointment for me at time convenient for me. I did not have to leave my work earlier and did not have to wait the whole day for repair man to show up. The repairman showed up on time and diagnosed the problem with my fridge very fast. Before he ordered the part he told me the estimated price, which was very affordable and fair. He ordered the part, and next day he was able to replace it. My fridge is working fine now. Fast and very professional attitude. more

we called superior appliance repair Monday when before our major 50th bithday party guess what our maytag oven decided to go on us but we found a real nice company who came out very very fast superior appliance from brooklyn ny they stand behind their name superior . the price was great and we got a great tech he had the part he was sosososo clean and neat job for all u out there i don't want 2 wish u that your appliance should break down but if it does u can call superior appliance 2 718-854-1600 they service all brands Maytag ,whirlpool,GE,viking,Hotpoint,etc thanks so much more

A neighbor recommended that I call Superior Appliance Repair 718-854-1600 when my whirlpool refrigerator died. I called and Sam came the next morning, when he said he would. He gave me options, with his recommendation of how to fix it right the first time...I was impressed enough to ask him to look at my wife's washing machine. Same story: he gave me options, and let me decide. He had to come back with parts, fixed them both, and gave me sticker shock at how low my bill was! Sam has called back twice to check and make sure everything was working, and that we were happy. He is HONEST, does what he says he's going to do, shows up when he's supposed to, KNOWS WHAT HE'S DOING, and I will never call anybody else. I will recommend him to family, neighbors and friends!! best part was appliance service was great and he had parts thanks. Terrible service, horrible costumer service. They had us waiting all day for the repair guy to fix our fridge and he never showed up. We called several times and they kept saying to wait. The costumer service is even worst. The person at the office was really unhelpful and rude. Our food went bad.. AVOID AT ALL COSTS Pros: nothing Cons: they dont show up more

There is NO such fine appliance repair in Brooklyn, like SUPERIOR. I personly had service, that is almost impossible to put down in words!!!! Give em a try you'll never regret it! SUPER! SUPER! LUCKY BROOKLYN for such a company! Superior has amazing customer service, great technicians they are on time and are just the best!!!! They were unbelievably helpful and they're pricing was great. My Maytag dishwasher that was still under warranty was unfortunately ""serviced"" by Superior Appliance in Brooklyn for a faulty control panel. They damaged the dishwasher so badly when they took it apart to install the new panel that it is now ""unrepairable"" and I am left fighting with GE and Superior Appliance, trying to get them to replace the unit. (The original repairman ripped the seal and bent the front panel of the dishwasher while trying to install the new control panel.) GE is saying the damage is not covered by the warranty and Superior won't, up until this point, admit they caused the damage. On top of all this, Superior Appliance completely blew off one scheduled appointment after I waited five hours for them and didn't let me know they weren't coming. They also NEVER return phone calls and getting a person on the phone there is more difficult than winning the lottery. This nightmare has gone on for about a month now. Just terrible all around. I wish this rating system allowed no stars, but you are required to give at least one. This is the first review of any sort I've written online, so you know this was bad if I'm taking the time to write this. AVOID this company like the plague! Superior Appliance (Subzero repair) in Brooklyn NY is truly an excellent repair service. They recently altered my 10 year old Subzero from the old system to the latest efficient system for a reasonable price (much cheaper and greener than buying a new plastic machine). The job was a bit tricky but their excellent team member, Chris, came back 4 times to tweak the pressure and so forth until the machine hummed. Chris also checked back with me personally several times after the successful repair to make sure that everything was running smoothly. I highly recommend Superior Appliance in Brooklyn. tMy Asko dryer - he long and short of it. The technician came back several times to fix the same problem. Replaced the drain pump twice. Never put all the pieces back in. Missing screws, covers, broken parts, etc. Was lazy and quick to get the job done. Underhanded, wanted money on the side. Told me he changed a belt, when he didn't. The company is only interested in making as much money as they can off of you. Had to call another company to clean up his mess. $600 in total could have bought another Asko dryer. DO NOT USE SUPERIOR, WORST SERVICE!!!!! Cons: poor service and follow up more
