Sunset Collision Center

We took my Dad's 1991 Ford F150 in for an estimate. they had us fill out a form and then looked at the truck. the driver's door and roof of cab needed work. said the body was in good shape. that was over two months ago. Never heard back from them. I was very disappointed as we had repairs done by them before and were happy with the results. Being a returning customer did not seem to make a difference as it was apparent from the beginning they did not really want the work as it was not an Insurance claim. more

Sunset Collision Center Did an excellent job on my car. They did the front end of my car after an accident. They explained everything to me and at the end it looked like it came of the assembly line. I am pleased with their work, and I have used them two times. I would recommend them to anyone. They were great on the phone and they informed me of when my car would be ready. I called them once and they were there for me. Very pleased with them and they are very timely. more

A MONTH ago, I dropped my car off and was told that they were "backed up, so it would be a while" before they could look at my car. I left my phone number and all of my contact info, signed forms and handed over the keys. I even helped push it into their storage lot.. I had not heard anything and so 4 days ago started calling. Every day for three days I called with no return calls until this morning. The guy says, "you never came down to sign the repair order, so we never did anything to it. I am backed up and cannot get to it. You need to come down and get it, I will not charge you for storage." NUMBER 1: I WAS NEVER CONTACTED ABOUT A REPAIR ORDER OTHERWISE I WOULD HAVE WENT DOWN AND DONE SO!!! NUMBER 2: YOU DON'T HAVE TIME TO WORK ON A CAR THAT I WILL PAY TO GET FIXED??? MY MONEY IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH?!? NUMBER THREE: YOU "will not charge" ME FOR STORAGE? LIKE THAT IS DOING ME A FAVOR?! I HAVE NOT HAD A CAR FOR OVER A MONTH THINKING IT WAS GOING TO BE FIXED, OTHERWISE I WOULD HAVE NEVER DROPPED IT OFF IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So, I paid a tow truck $75 to bring the car back to my house and they told the tow truck driver that they LOST MY KEYS to the car!?!? This has been the most horrible automotive service I have ever dealt with in my entire life! more

Sunset Collision Center fixed the rear of my car that got hit and the work came out fine. The fellow in charge kept us informed of what's going on like when they had to order new parts. Overall, I think they did a good job. more

Sunset Collision Center didn't get the paint color I wanted and he told me that I would get another container of paint but I never got it. But that's my only negative thing about it. I went there twice for accidents that were no fault of my own and the second one was pretty bad. I needed a new hood, headlight, taillight, bumper, and radiator and everything was impeccable. Both times, they did great work and their response is quick when you call. They also call you all the time for updates. Of course, they're very cordial, nice, welcoming, and make you feel comfortable and safe leaving your car. more

I had some paint damage on my car that needed to be repaired and Sunset Collision did it quickly and professionally. They are just very honest and reputable. more

I used Sunset Collision Center for the first time, and they were really friendly and willing to help! My car was in the shop for five weeks waiting for a part from the manufacturer. When I finally could pick up the car, they made sure I was happy with the job. They were very courteous, and they did a good job! more

Sunset Collision Center provided great service to me. I was hit in a parking lot, and there was no police report because it happened on private property. Sunset Collision Center dealt directly with my insurance company for me. They even picked me up and dropped me off during the time that I was without a car. They were in great communication with me, and they called me regularly with updates. I was worried because it was a new car, and I wasn't sure if the paint they chose would match. When I got the car back about a week later, the paint job matched exactly. You couldn't even tell that it was in a collision. I have no complaints whatsoever. I would definitely use them again. more

Sunset Collision painted my bumper and now my bumper doesn't match my car. I am not one to complain, so I didn't go back. The people there are really nice. They took me home and picked me up. It's just that the work wasn't done right. If you do not have a ride to drop your car off they will drive you to and from their place. I asked them if they could do it in a day and thought they would tell me they could only do it in two or more, but they could and ended up doing just that. My car is ruby red and when I got it back the bumper was more of an orange red. It looks like it matches at first, but it doesn't. They're very nice people. I dealt with the owner, Bob, and he was great. That's my only complaint. I had gone in off some reviews off the internet. It is great service, just not great work. more

I've had a great situation with Sunset collision for the past two years. I found them through our insurance company when we got into a situation with our vehicle. They were efficient and as timely as possible. They kept us totally in the loop and we've used them for all other repairs and find their prices very competitive.
