Sunnyvale Public Library

This is a really great library. This place is HUGE. it has everything! Old books, new books, reference books, fiction books. They have it all. They even have a pretty good selection of CDs, which is really unusual for a library. They have international CD's too. Great interational selection of books! They have a summer reading program for kids yeah, but they even have one for adults! The staff is really great, they are so nice and patient! When I was checking out a book I handed the guy the card to another library. He calmly asked me if I actually had a card to THIS library. They have a lot of the self check out machines so you are never left waiting which is really nice. What I really like about the library is the DVD selection, this you have got to see. more

This library is very inpressive compared to some of the other libraries in the area. It's very big and fairly well organized. I can almost always find what I want. They have a great stock of books, VHS, DVDs, and CDs. The CD selection ain't so great though. There's never any new stuff. Only classicals, oldies, and whatnot. But that's okay. Since these days we down download music anyway. Most of the books are in great condition. Not dirty/ripped, or whatnot. A very large percentage of the books are new/like-new. more
