Strikes:
Film over the only two bowls of food in the deli section from stagnancy & not being stirred. Waited 15 minutes to order had to walk over and say we were ready to order, another 20 minutes to get our drinks and my brother's was forgotten. When he asked the waitress for his drink when our food came, she rudely scoffed and said ""uhhhh, yeah."" No apology. Ordered root fries as an appetizer, didn't get those. Added cheese to my sandwich didn't get that either. BUILDING IS FILTHY. More effort spent on painting walls 10 different colors than cleaning the building or just wiping the grime off the window sills. Seriously smelled like a colony of feral cats. SLOW, it was only us and 2 other people in the place and they were drinking coffee. I can't express enough that this place smells like a dilapidated hoarder's cat infested Hubble. All the moderately priced Ikea in the world won't hide the fact that your restaurant is dirty. Had to walk over to the register to check out because our waitress was so worthless & relay our order to the woman standing right next to the waitress who couldn’t be bothered to do it. Someone needs to call the health inspector on this place, I can't FATHOM that it is up to code. If you're in Syracuse and a vegetarian, skip Sugar and go to Strong Hearts or Alto Cinco. I regret wasting two hours of my 4 days a year I get to visit with my family in Syracuse here. The service, the atmosphere and the SMELL was so bad that the thought actually crossed my mind that I was on that show Boiling Point. If the manager/owner of this place is reading, here are some tips. It should never take 20 minutes to get your drinks and drinks/appetizers/parts of sandwiches should NEVER be forgotten, especially not all at once, especially not if there's only one group eating in the place. CLEAN your building. I like what you're doing, I want you to succeed. You have the right idea, now try harder.
Pros: Mostly vegetarian
Cons: Awful service, filthy & smells like cat piss.
