Miracle Workers! 12/2/2009

Although their second location in the Embarcadero is roomier with a grander location, this location holds many memories of tensions and pains dropping to the salon's floor. Suchada's economical rates allow more regular indulgence and so you may well find yourself making a relaxing Thai massage a habit. It is guaranteed that you will feel much better and youthful walking out than you did walking in. The therapists are friendly and will listen to where you want them to focus, or you can just sink into the platform and listen to quiet Thai music as they work your pressure points and stretch your joints. Pros: Serious massages at gentle pricing Cons: cozy location more

Breathtaking! Sensational and just plain Wow! 5/13/2009

Breathtaking! Sensational and just plain Wow! I had a one hour massage that made my head spin, my body smile and I walked out feeling great. My shoulders were stiff from stress of my job in front of a computer for days on end. I asked the lady at the front desk the name of the lady that gave me my massage. She said it was Nina. I asked if I could request her when I make my next appointment! She said yes I could but that Nina was one of the most request people on staff. Well I guess I got the best the first time out. Good things happen to good people, Me! :-) Pros: Best for my stress! Cons: None more

A True Gem of a Thai Massage! 12/20/2008

The place is ?SUCHADA Thai Massage?! The masseuse is ?Nina?! My mom made me my first appointment with ?Nina? knowing I love True Thai massages! I lived in Thailand for 3 years and know what a magnificent Thai massages is like. The first appointment, I told ?Nina? were I needed work. ?Nina? adjusts my Thai massages according to my needs; just like the better masseuse do in Bangkok Thailand. The second, third and fourth massages ?Nina? just did her magic with no input from me! Have two or three appointments with ?Nina? and know what the real Thai massage is like. Other masseuses make appointments with ?Nina? to learn her majestic techniques. Accept no substantiation for you first three appointments! Best chances to get an appointment with ?Nina? are week days. I had given up on ever getting a great Thai Massage in SF. Thanks mom for finding ?Nina?. Thanks ?Nina?! (Kimo) more

Best massage in San Francisco 9/19/2008

This place is so great! I've had two massages here with different women, and both of them were wonderful. The best is the Herbal massage, because they press on you with these warm things that smell very relaxing, not like anything I've ever smelled before. It's not a perfumey smell, just like being in a very fresh forest of some kind of trees and herbs you've never smelled before but always knew existed. Hard to describe, but not to be missed. You will leave feeling sort of dazed from the massage experience, but totally refreshed. It's spotlessly clean, beautiful, and so, so quiet there. more

Effective massage 3/1/2008

Tis place reminds me of Bangkok. The staff are friendly. Thai people are always so hospitable and polite. Definitely love this massage place. Of course nothing beats the real massage in Bangkok; but Suchada Thai is a comparable find. The aromatherapy massage is very effective. They totally target at my problem knots and try to work on it. Ouch, it hurts but it is good! I will surely come back again whenever I need someone to release my tension knots again. more

Remarkable Experience 2/29/2008

My gf gave me a gift certificate to Suchada for Valentine's day. As I enter the massage place i felt like i was stepping back in time. I was greeted by friendly staff. i've never had thai massage and it was unique. they press and stretched me with knees and elbows, really interesting and made me hurt so good! You gotta try it if you haven't! Highly recommended! more

A REAL THAI MASSAGE OUTSIDE OF THAILAND 2/12/2008

I have been to Thailand several times and I love the massages there. I have never been able to get a real Thai massage in San Francisco. I have tried over 15 different people or places but they were never the same. I love a deep massage with all the elbows and knees and stretching. Being at Suchada is closest thing to being in Thailand. Everything from the rooms, to the mats, to the music, to the ceiling decorates, to the lemon grass tea makes you feels like you're in Thailand. I go there at least 2x per month. All the staff are great, they each have their ownt techniques but there are all very responsive and VERY strong (and they are tiny) I highly recommend this place. Pros: deep massage, deco, attentiveness Cons: NONE more

Truly a 24 Karat Thai Massage: 11/4/2007

Experience the ?Real Thing?! Scotty beamed the real thing from Thailand to SF. My 9 year quest finding the real thing in the U.S. is over. I travel thousands of miles just to have 3 sessions with Apple?s staff in one week. My old body works smoother for weeks after my sessions. Everything is very professional and respectful. I?ve had more than a hundred ?Thai? Massages, in and out of Thailand and this place has all the ?Real? Traditional Thai techniques in one place. My advice is to have three sessions. Then you will be writing a review better than this. I know I?m shooting myself in the foot because I?m not going to beadle to get my appointments because you will fill the schedule. Well Apple has opened another place because her staff is so good, that alone should tell you something. (Mr Jim) Pros: your health, incredible service, price more

Best Thai massage ever 10/6/2007

I went to Suchada's new location on King St and my experience there was absolutely wonderful. This place is so surreal. You do need to be very respectful which was no problem for me, like make sure you take off your shoes and I had to whisper when I talked. This was my first Thai massage so I didn't know what to expect. The lady who massaged me did such a good job. She massaged and stretched out every part of my body it seemed like. My back was killing me and now I feel a lot better. I can't wait to go back. Pros: very affordable, great customer service Cons: none more

best thai massage outside of thailand 7/11/2007

Such a fantastic experience. I felt like I was in Thailand again - so much so I had to order Thai food when I got home! The massage was incredible especially for the price. I will definitely go back. Advance warning - its in a residential neighborhood so I thought I was lost, but just follow the address and look for the little sign. Pros: service, price more

best massage ever! 5/2/2007

After experiencing their Thai Massage I will never go back to swedish massage! They worked me to the core, stretched me out, and released every single knot in my body. I felt so amazing afterwards and I still can't stop thinking about it and it's been over 3 weeks! I can't wait until my next session. Nina was my masseuse and she is little and super strong. The space is small, but extremely charming and cozy. The prices are extremely affordable. I am definitely coming back as often as I can! Pros: massage, ambiance, prices Cons: none! more

I can't feel the knot on my shoulder that I've had for years!! 1/8/2007

If you need a massage to help get those knots out of your back...these is the place!! This was the first time I've had a thai massage...I usually get swedish massages. I've had a knot on my right shoulder for years and can never get rid of it. Paul from Suchada worked miracles on my shoulder and just melted away the tension and I can't even feel the the knot anymore...amazing...I was so excited that I found a way to attack it. This was really a bad knot too...even Paul was surprised at how hard it was...felt like a ball or even a bone but it was just that I had a lot of tension there. When I left, I felt relaxed and felt taller...like my posture improved a bit. Well, anyways, if you need some "fixin' "...try the thai massage! more

Worth every penny..... 11/18/2006

My gf and I had a massage today at Suchada. It was really good. The ambiance, the people and the skills reminded me of Thailand few years ago. They are very professional and the studio is very private. The environment is clean and the masseuse was great. Definitely worth every penny. Make sure you book in advanced. Happy Massaging!!! Pros: Professionlism, Clean, Service, Value Cons: Minor challenge on parking between 6pm - 8pm on weekends more

Best deep tissue massage ever!!! 6/28/2006

But I didn't get a deep tissue massage, I tried the Thai Massage. Im so glad I did! Im hooked! Thai Massage is the kind of massage that will work out your knots! Its not a flowy, relaxing, fall asleep kind of massage. (but they do offer those as well) Apple uses her hands, arms/elbows, and even her feet. (don't freak out, give it a try) Ive never had anyone be able to really work out my knots before. And they were really bad this time around. Apple was able to get deep down into my knots and really apply pressure to them, working them looser. Apple was informative, professional, and skilled at what she does. When you go, keep an open mind and give the Thai Massage a try. I was totally impressed with her skill and two of my friends are already going to give it a try! Oh, and they have fresh mint tea! FYI-She's running a promotion, you can get a free massage after 10 visits! Your friends and family can use your card to help you get that free visit too! (not sure how long that will run...) Pros: Extremely skilled. Great prices. Sanitary. Parking/location. more

A little piece of heaven in Outer Richmond... 5/30/2006

Terrific little gem in outer richmond! Apple provides professional massages in a cozy, relaxing environment. It's one of the best massages I've ever received and I definitely plan on going back. Pros: Easy parking, Value, Friendly more

Wonderful Experience 5/21/2006

Having never had a Thai massage we were a bit unsure of what to expect. Our host made us very comfortable and welcomed. What a great experience. Very professional. Very comfortable studio. Very warm and inviting atmosphere. more

Excellent service and relaxing experience 5/3/2006

If you are looking for a total body pampering experience, then Suchada's Thai Massage is the place to go. The atmosphere is soothing, the service is amazing and the massage session is one of the best I've ever experienced. The masseuse sincerely cares about how she can treat and soothe muscle aches, pains and tensions. Definitely worth your time and your money! more

Great Thai Massage 3/29/2006

I commute an hour each way to work and am usually stiff and tired when I get home. I tried Suchada Massage and found the traditional Thai massage to be an excellent way to stretch and relax the body. I left Suchada Massage at least half an inch taller and far more relaxed. The studio is very attractive and calming - it really evokes the atmosphere of Thailand. Apple is a great massage therapist. Overall, a very enjoyable experience that is well worth repeating. more

great massage 3/9/2006

My visit to Suchada Massage was the first time I had a royal Thai massage. I have had many Shiatsu massages over the years, but had never experienced royal Thai massage. Royal Thai massage has many aspects of Shiatsu, combining the best of Shiatsu plus more yoga stretches and deep thumb pressure. Visiting Suchada Massage was like taking a short trip to Thailand. It was a great two hour experience in a peaceful, relaxing environment. I felt great afterwards more

  • This serene destination, best known for Thai massage, an ancient Buddhist practice based on pressure points and yoga-like assisted stretching, does away with the usual massage table for most of its services, save traditional Swedish and aromatic rubdowns, of course. Instead, clients receive tension-relieving treatments on soft floor mats and reflexology in comfy reclining chairs.
