Huge Selection of everything! 8/29/2006

The sub has a huge selection of everything. Posters, stickers, buttons, decorations, music, it's all here. The staff are all really friendly and can help you find anything you're looking for. For the >18 crowd they have a great selection of smoking apparatuses in the back room (FYI, you always have to show ID. welcome to SLO) including what I would say is the best selection of seesha (hookah tobacco) and accessories in SLO. Even if you don't need anything it's still a fun store to look around in. more

Unique Shop 11/8/2005

The Sub is the type of store that you go in just for the entertainment of seeing what they have. I think the only thing I have ever purchased here is a disco ball, but I go into this store everytime that I go to San Luis Obispo because it is so much fun to see what they have. They have a lot of funky decor and they also have a lot of body jewelry and really cute naval rings. They have blacklights and blacklight posters. They are always getting new stuff and it is always very unique. more

Unique store with great selection and service. 11/5/2005

Contrary to popular belief, you don't have to be a stoner to go to the sub. This place is a great variety shop for just about anyone. If you're looking for unique decor for your room or a unique gift, it's the perfect place to go. more
