Stuc's Pizza

We put off going to Stucs pizza for about a year due to a co-worker saying if we had time, and I do mean plenty of time, to eat there. It was my day off so my wife and I went there and decided to beat the lunch crowd so we go there at 11:15 a.m. They opened at 11:00. There were two people there when we got there. We ordered a cup of soup and ordered a Large Paco Taco pizza. The soup arrived 15 minutes later and was very good and was lots of it. For $3.50+ for a cup I would expect as much. The place started filling up like mad about 11:40 a.m. At Noon we still did not have our order and the table behind us started making comments about the poor/slow service. 4 people from a table of 6 who came in after us told the waitress they couldn't wait around for their food and left. By 12:15 we still didn't have our food so I finally asked the waitress who was not rude but said it's take a long time for pizzas. We ordered one pizza! By 12:20 the waitress has served two other tables their food and by 12:25 we gave up! What a waste of time. I understand that if you have plenty of time you can enjoy lunch their...but make sure it's on your vacation break if you want to get out of that place in two hours! I live in Appleton and will NEVER RETURN! Go to FRANKS on College. Great pizza and they actually have people making the pizza in back. I wish I could have given this place 1/2 star. They managed to get ice in the water they served me. One note: When I complained to the Manager he had no explenation for the delay but did ""comp"" the soup. NEVER AGAIN! Pros: Soup was good. Place seemed clean. Good parking. Cons: Over an hour wait and never got our food or a reason for the delay. Pricey! more

We have lived in the Valley for 17 years and Stuc's is still our favorite. The thin crust is okay but the deep dish and calzones are awesome. Great food and a GREAT value. more

well all I can say is I live in Corpus Christi, Texas and Stucs is the best pizza I have ever had and I've had many types of pizza. I suggest a deep dish. I took some home when I flew up to visit some friends and now that I am going back I'm bringing at least 3 home!!! I think the previous person just had the wrong kind of pizza. more

After visiting Yahoo! and seeing that this place receivied an 8.5 rating (highest of any pizza place rated in Appleton) I called in a take out order. Not familiar with the menu, the person who answered the phone was very helpful. I decided on a medium Stuc's Special (thin crust) for take out. I don't know what food item was responsible for the 8.5 rating, but it wasn't the pizza pie I had. This thing had WAY TOO MUCH tomato sauce. There was generous portions of cheese (America's Dairyland, ya know??), green pepper, and meats. But the sauce just overwhelmed everything. I ate less than half of the pie and pitched the rest. Based on this pie, I cannot recommend eating here. Pros: Price, Quick, Friendly Cons: , Just BAD pizza more
