Mixed Bag Review for me... Overall good this visit but past experience not so great.
So I called the Service Department on Wednesday, June 11 in the morning for a same day appointment in hopes of talking to someone briefly before scheduling my appointment and this lady at the service department answers the phone. I asked her if i could schedule a same day appointment and her reply was "no we're all full today." I was rather surprised to hear that since the schedule calendar online said they had several and I mean SEVERAL openings through mid-day and the afternoon. So of course I thought forget it. If this lady doesn't want to help me I will just book one online so I did. The lady told me the first opening isnt for another week from then. Lies...Perhaps the reason the dealership isnt busy is because she is requiring people to book a week in advance. Hello! Talk about a serious loss of cash for the company if people can't or don't want to wait another week to get an appointment.
Thankfully when I got there I didn't have any problems. The gentleman who greeted me (vallet) when I pulled up my car was AWESOME and so was Bryan Eshagh. Thank goodness these two gentlemen came through because I have had some terrible experiences in the past with Stevens Creek Hyundai in the past where the service department scratched up the side of my car and didnt care to tell me then fessed up to about it when later confronted. What was even further disappointing with that experience is the service team offered no resolution or offered to pay for anything. It was like pulling teeth for them to fix it and they wouldnt take it back in the shop for another week (this was probably the same lady that wouldn't let me book my appointment on the 11th). The only reason I came back this time was to get a free 7500 mile service check up that they owed me after messing up my car within a month of me buying from the dealership. That would explain why I did not receive a customer satisfaction survey from Eric & Shaun. They knew the rating would be bad so they thought why bother. The only reason I am saying this now is because I didn't receive the survey before.
In conclusion, Bryan and the vallet (young guy with a lot of energy :) I am so sorry I don't remember youre name because people need to know you're doing an awesome job) are probably the only good service and good experience I have received so far. Everything else has been a pretty bad experience between sale's dishonesty, shady finance people, poor service between the Hyundai dealership and Hyundai Motor Finance. I like my car but can't recommend buying a car at the dealership or service there. A few bad experiences have really killed it for me.
I really hope someone takes this seriously before you lose more customers.
