my family has been going for about a year now, Dr Stein and Staff is very personable and\r accommodating , we don't have dental insurance... so we like when he works with us regarding a payment plan and runs the promotional specials. more

I have been a patient at this dental group for over 10 years. They are always available. Someone is alway willing to take the time to go the extra mile to make sure that you leave happy. They take the time to work with your insurance company so that you can maximize your benifits. I have nothing bad to say. \r \r If you need a good dentist or dental specialist give them a try, they are really great. more

I have never had an experience like I had at this office, everytime I have ever needed anything done the dentist would tell me what it was and then I would get stuck with a bill for everything that wasn't covered. Not here, they actually scheduled my work so that I could use my benefits from two years and minimize my out-of-pocket expense. It seemed to me like they actually cared! I could be wrong...but I'm going to go to my next cleaning and see what they have to say then. As for now....I'm a happy camper! more

I have been coming to Dr Stein for over 35 years, he is a wonderful dentist, gentle and caring. The staff is efficient and accommodating and the fees are reasonable. One cannot ask for anything more in dental care! more

This is the worst dentist in the entire world! The only reason I went here from the beginning is because I was new to the area and was just looking for a dentist that was close to my job. It all started with a simple cavity. Instead of giving me the different options with potential outcomes, Dr. Stein went right into drilling my tooth down until it looked like a tea cup. I know because he even showed me the tooth before filling it which was kind of disturbing in itself to see 2/3rds of your tooth gone. Once they did a half-ass job filling it, I left the office only to return about a week or so later with half my real tooth chipped off the side! When I went back they told me they could not refill again but cap it. The catch was that my insurance company would not cover the second procedure on the same tooth. That was the first out-of-pocket expense they hit me with. The nightmare continued after they did the next procedure to actually cap it. Seemed like everything would be fine except the cap kept falling off. After the 3rd time I asked for my dental records and never went back. In order to fix the mess that Dr. Stein & his office made, I got a great referral for my company CEO to go to Dr. Orlow (also in Stamford). A root canal, crown-lengthening and new cap later my tooth is fixed. Insurance would not cover any of those procedures b/c I already used the coverage I had on the faulty job Dr. Stein did, so my out of pocket expenses were almost $3K (which Dr. Orlow & team were happy to work out a payment plan with me - I love them!!) Please, if at all possible, avoid Stein Dental Group like the plague! They are bad news! more

From the moment I made the phone call on a saturday morning with my ""dental emergency"" , the staff was eager and willing to help me. I had a horrible experience at the dentist as a teen and it has made it close to impossible as an adult to get thru a dental appt. Dr. Alex Costantino was extremely patient with me and even more so efficient. He let me know everything he was doing play by play and was extremely gentle. With the problem I had, I was expecting someone to give me a bill that was at least $800.00, But he was able and willing to do what ever he could to save the tooth I have and make it even stronger!! With no questions asked, they worked with me on the financial front. The front desk receptionists were very pleasant to speak with both over the phone and in person and wanted to go that extra mile for me(Even on my first visit) to make both my current and future appt's. If your looking for GREAT dental work with an AMAZING dentist, that has a professional and pleasant staff then The Stein Dental Group is the place to go! more

Just walking in the door for the first time made me feel at ease. No dull dentist office with everyone in white coats here. The dentists and staff are wonderful, competent, and caring. The thing is that you don't feel like you are at the dentist(I really don't like that feeling) because the atmosphere is not typical and the look of the office is that of a fun place. Most important though is that I needed a lot of dental work(had bad teeth all my life) and everyone there coordinated my complex care to deliver an awesome result! What's more is that every time I brought my kids with me they were so entertained by the game room that they didn't want to leave. Now they are patients too! Can't say enough good things about this place more

I am an avid coffee drinker, I started when I was 12 years old and have been having at least two cups of coffee a day. Well, you can only imagine what my teeth looked like. Im 25 years old and I had teeth that were older looking than my 80 year old great grandmother. Something needed to be done. I looked online at all my options, but honestly I didn't want anything that would require work from me. I called the office and they had three options, it was like little red riding hood, and one was just right. Zoom did it for me, they also gave me a coupon code for a friend for $50 off!
