I have dealt with other dealerships of this type before. While most of them meet the minimum requirements for good customer service, this is only one in my experience that went the extra mile to explain in very specific detail all aspects of the buying experience. From the minute we came on to the lot, from the time we drove away in our purchased vehicle, we were treated with friendly, no pressure and hassle free service. I would rate this company as an excellent dealership to do business with and highly recommended. more

I have always been skeptical of these types of lots, but now I'm a believer. From the moment I got there it was a great experience. The nice young man was very helpful in explaining the whole process. I appreciate the time he took with me and the way this is going to help my credit. Starting over isn't always an easy thing to do, especially with bad credit. I am very pleased with the car I purchased and that it is helping me rebuild my credit. With a down payment I can afford, it dosen't get much better than that. The cars were priced good and it was what I'd wanted. Thank you so much Statewide!!! more

I came to Statewide because my credit is horrible. They treated me with respect when most other dealers did not. Debbie found me a great car for my money. The prices on the cars are alittle high, but with bad credit, that's what you get. Any questions I had were quickly answered. I would recommend this lot for anyone. more

Like alot of people these days I have found myself in credit trouble. I used to have little or no problem walking into any dealership and buying a car not so much the case now. I saw this ad on craiglist and called the number half thinking it was a scam. the follow day I received a call from statewide they explained how the program worked and I filled out an application later that day. I went the store on branford the next day they had a little bit of everything. I picked out a ford explorer drove it loved it and bought it. I knew going in the I was buying a used vehicle and that it would have its issues but I felt good knowing that not only was I getting a service plan to cover it down the road but when i was looking it over I found a couple light bulbs were out and they had me take it right away to get fixed at no extra charge. GOODSHIT 2/6/2011

My credit is messed up so I went to Statewide cuz noone else would sell me a car. I only had 3000 bucks to put down and he sold me an INFINITI G35!!! Everybody else wanted way more money then that. Don't they know its holiday season?!! I got the car I wanted and a payment that will not break me. I also appreciate all my questions being answered without making me feel dumb.I just wanted to say thank you to Statewide!!! more

I am from Sacramento, where there are no Statewide. came to Statewide after being referred by a colleague. My salesperson not only believes in the quality of vehicles that Statewide sells, but, takes time out to help other employees and managers. She may not know all about every car, but, she does know customer service. When I walked into her office and saw all of the customer service and sales awards, I could tell that she was serious about her work. And how! She helped me find the right BMW for my family at just the right price. She even handed me her card saying, ""Now, I have 24 hour cell phone service, so call me anytime night or day!"" I am a doctor at KU and work night shifts. I recommend Statewide and its integrity. Although every business grows steadily with its customers, Statewide cares about every standard. more

I recently purchased an Audi A6 Statewide. The price was competitive. The car had a problem surface within the first week but Statewide took responsibility, made an appointment and paid for the car to be fixed. This is the second car that I have purchased from this dealer and I would consider using them again. They give people like me a chance. more

I have horrible credit 2/4/2011

We were very skeptical about buying a used automobile, especially from an independent dealer but with our credit we had no choice no one would finance us. We decided on an Acura MDX. There seems to be very few used Acura MDX available. The people at Statewide where very pleasant, low key and no pressure. First we agreed on the phone to the approximate price. When we finally went to pick up the car, Statewide had the car registered, inspected, the few knicks touched up and small hole in leather perfectly fixed. They did everything they promised and the car is like new. To our surprise, it was a very pleasant car purchasing experience! With our f!$@#d up credit we where treating with respect. more

Perfect Service 2/3/2011

i bought a 2008 infiniti from aStatewide. I had to wait a few days before I could see it because they were servicing it. At first I was skeptical and I thought there was something up with the car but when I came in to see the car was in mint condition. They put new tires brakes oil change belt and etc they did almost everything at infiniti. He went over the car with me in detail and told me everything I needed to know. He explained to me how the service dept does a big presale inspection and any necessary maintenace that needs to be done will be done. Buying a car and getting financing was easy and I had no headaches. I also liked how Statewide was laidback and they were not pushy. After I drove off the lot I brought the car to my local mechanic who I have beenn doing business with for a decade and he said the car was in great condition and got all the necessary service done to it. Statewide was the best car dealer I have ever worked with. They are professional and on top of their stuff. It was a pleasure doing business with them. I would definitely recommend doing business with Statewide. more

My salesperson, answered all my questions, went through the Carfax with me and there was no pressure to buy at all - just a friendly experience all around. During the numbers phase everything was straight-forward. I'd done my price comparisons online and found their price better than expected. The Land Rover was still under factory warranty and looked like new (but at half the price of new). He had the car ready and detailed when I picked it up. So far no problems at all! more

I bought a sick Range Rover Sport from Statewide, My wife and I Love it! Our salesman, was great right from the time he met us outside, until we drove away in our new van. I purchased a BMW 530 from Statewide in May 2010. I read the reviews on Yahoo and was wary of them, to say the least. However, I have to say that I don't understand where all of the negative reviews are coming from. My experience with them was great. The salesmen returned all of my calls or emails in a timely manner and was very open with the whole deal. The price of the car was great. I think one problem people have is that they expect Statewide to back the condition of the cars, but from the beginning, I approached this transaction for what it is: a purchase of a car, AS-IS. They are just selling pre-owned cars, so it's up to the buyer to make sure he or she is satisifed with the car, not Statewide. I don't care what a seller or dealer says--I am the only one who knows what I like and what I dont like, so I don't depend on their word. I had the car inspected by an independent BMW repair shop (it was pricey, but detailed) and went to to see it for myself afterwards. The car was in great shape and they cleaned it very well. Everything, including paperwork, went very smoothly. I have no complaints about Statewide and would buy from them again. As with anything, if you're considering a car from here, just make certain the car is in good shape and get a good mechanic or shop to inspect it before you finalize the deal. I've seen comments from reviewers who purchased cars over $90,000 but didnt bother to pay $200-$300 bucks for someone to inspect it first--so they blame the dealers. Remember, these cars are sold AS-IS. more

Great experience. No pressure. Completely honest and up front.They will work with you on price but you must be reasonable about it. I got an Dodge Charger '08 for a very fair price. No junkers on Statewides lot. They only have the ""Good stuff."" What else can I say? more

Easy process 1/29/2011

No one likes taking there vehicle in to have it repaired, including myself, and I was a bit frustrated when I called to make an appointment to bring it in. Fortunately the lady in service at Statewide was very friendly and assured me that they would fix my problem and she managed to work me in to the schedule that day. The service manager I picked my vehicle up from that afternoon was also very nice and patient and explained the work that had been done very thoroughly, considering that I knew nothing about mechanics. I really do appreciate their help and my car was fixed perfectly. more
