For work I was in charge of getting our Christmas Cards ordered and sent out. I ordered them on December 6th. According to the order form, as long as you ordered them by the 10th you would receive them back within 3 days. So this sounded perfect!
When I dropped the order off at Staples, the employee at the counter stated, "I have no idea how do do the Christmas cards - you'd think they would train me on these since this is my job."
Of course, I replied, "Ya, that would help."
He then assured me, he would pass the order to someone who would know exactly what to do.
On the 14th, which was a week later, I called Staples to check on the status of my order because I needed to get the cards mailed before the weekend. They stated they had forwarded my order to another company that they use for Christmas cards. I was surprised since this was not mentioned before, but I said "OK, so what is the status?". They told me that there was a problem with our company logo on the cards but that they would have it resolved as soon as possible.
Long story short, I just received my cards on December 20 at 3pm. Barely enough time to address and mail the cards in time for Christmas.
I will never use them again for Christmas cards. For ordering office supplies, they're great - but for personalized cards - definitely not.
