Dr. Robert, Dr. Bobbi and their staff provided an amazing and professional dental experience to my family. My daughter had a very complicated gum procedure that required extensive gum surgery to correct. Dr. Robert explained the procedure in explicit detail. My husband and I both appreciate his educational background, PhD in Mechanical Engineering, and attribute his very detailed and methodical approach to how he handled our daughter's case. Everything went exactly as he and his staff expected and our daughter can FINALLY smile without embarrassment or ridicule. We are so grateful for Dr. Robert's personal attention, caring and re-assuring manner and particularly his finesse and expertise in the dental field. I hate dentists (I've had bad experiences in the past) but Stanley Dentistry makes me feel calm and relaxed. They make sure I understand what is going on and make me as comfortable as possible. I highly recommend them for everyone, especially if you are nervous or scared. more

I have been going to Dr. Stanley's office for years and recently went to have my teeth cleaned. I would recommend Stanley Dentistry to anyone, especially if you have any dental fears. All the staff is friendly and professional and they always make me feel special when I arrive. The ladies up front are always smiling and laughing. My son also comes here and has a few dental needs. The televisions in each room really help him ""escape"" and get his mind off of being at the dentist since he can watch his favorite cartoons. He actually enjoys coming and having work done. I would definitely run, and not walk to Dr. Stanley's office. They are great! more

I recently took my daughter to see Dr. Stanley for her cleaning and exam. We were greeted by the friendly staff and did not wait long to be seen. During the appointment my daughter's first cavity was diagnosed. Fortunately because of regular dental visits the cavity was very small and Doctor Stanley offered take care of it that day. Awesome! No time to build anxiety regarding the unknown. Dr. Stanley and her wonderful assistants made sure my daughter was comfortable and eased any anxiety about this new experience. We were all smiles when we left. First Class service! more

I have been going to Stanley Dentistry for 15 years. I found Dr. Bobbi Stanley right after I moved to Cary, North Carolina and I couldn't be happier. She is the most comprehensive and up-to-date dentist that I know. She takes over 200 hours of training per year. The average dentist takes only 15 hours. Dr. Bobbi Stanley is caring and giving. She loves dentistry and enjoys making people smile. She gives more of her time than any doctor that I know. Even when I lost my job, she insisted that I get my necessary dental treatment. She did not ask me for payment nor make me feel that I was not welcomed. Her heart is truly in the right place. My children love Dr. Bobbi Stanley. Since she has four children of her own, she knows how to relate to children. She is great with my teenage children too. The team at Stanley Dentistry make you feel like part of their family. They call you by name when you walk in the door and they always remember important events in my life. I actually enjoy visiting Stanley Dentistry. I would highly recommend Stanley Dentistry to anyone seeking a caring and knowledgable dentist. I have referred numerous colleagues and family members and they all agree that they will never go anywhere else. more

After bragging about Stanley Dentistry for years to my boyfriend, I finally convinced him to go. This man has not seen a dentist for over 5 years, and is terrified to even make an appointment. His first visit was great and he couldn't say enough positive things about his appointment and everyone at the office. From the girl who cleaned his teeth, to the front office staff who helped him understand his insurance. It was a great experience. As you can imagine, he has some work that needs to be done, but he is gradually completing it and Dr. Bobbi has worked with him every step of the way. \r \r My vote would be two thumbs up. :-D more

Finding a average dentist is pretty easy, but finding an Excellent dentist is very difficult. I searched for a practice that could do everything, A to Z, that my family might need dentally and then I researched the Dr.'s training and credentials and we landed at Stanley Dentistry. Our family could not be more satisfied! After 10 years of incredible dental care and service, we would never look elsewhere. They are professional, educated on all the latest technology, dedicated to their patients and we appreciate how they have always delivered quality while making us feel comfortable... PRICELESS. more

My husband and I just got our cleanings at the office and everyone was great. My husband is not a fan of the dentist, but he left feeling very good about his experience and said he was happy we picked there. For him that is huge! Our hygienist took the time to really explain to him what he needs to do to keep his teeth healthy and Dr. Bobbi took the time to chat with him and make him feel comfortable. 5 gold stars in my book!!!!! more

Overall my experience at Stanley Dentistry was O.K. I like the girl that cleans my teeth. However, I always feel like they are trying to get more money out of me. I need this, I need that. I want good, necessary dental care, not to pay for the stanleys extravagant lifestyle. I'm going to my wife's dentist. more

I start out by saying, I did not want to give Stanley Dentistry any stars. The only reason why I went to them is because they offered the IV sedation (the only one I could find within 100 miles). This dental practice will charge you astronomical prices for unnecessary work that they claim you will need. After quoting you prices and you paying “IN FULL” for services provided, you will later discover that your checking account has been drafted hundreds of dollars (in my case, $800) without merit or even a phone call to inform you of such. Once you realize they have stolen your money, you will call their office to let them know of their mistake (and of course get your money back immediately!) but they will never admit to any mistake (even if you have 100% proof). After the nightmare is over, you will receive an email from Cary Magazine (thanks to Stanley Dentistry for providing my email address to a third party without my permission) asking you to vote for the “Best Cosmetic Dentist” in the area! Ok here is my vote: I give “Stanley Dentistry” 2 thumbs down! more

I went to Stanley Dentistry because they are located near my home. I was interested in a checkup and inquired about teeth whitening. It was easy to get an appointment and the girls were friendly. However, after a 40 minute wait, I was taken back to see Dr. Bobbi Stanley. After making me feel like I had neglected my teeth my whole life, she commenced the sales job. She apparently wanted me to make a couple of her home mortgage payments. She made me feel embarrassed about my appearance. Needless to say...she will never be my dentist. more

I have nothing but nice things to say about this office. The staff was proffesional, curteous, and just plain nice. They went above and beyond to help resolve an insurance issue that I would have had no idea how to fix. The actual treatment rooms are bright, spacious, and had a very nice feel to them. The assistant who took my history and symptoms was very, very thorough, and made me feel comfortable enough to make a few (rather pitiful, I must admit) jokes about some of the questions. I was in a lot of pain from the problem with my jaw, and both Dr. Stanley and her assistant went out of thier way to be as gentle with me as possible and to do the examination in a way that would aggravate the issue the least. After the examination Dr. Stanley sat down with me and explained what was going on, and even showed me information about my condition on a laptop. I was still in a lot of pain and I am sure that I asked some of my questions over again, but she was so patient and polite, she didnt point out that I had already asked that, she just nicely answered it again. She outlined a course of treatment with many different options along the way, and then printed out a copy for me to take home, review with my husband, and decide if she was a good fit as a Dentist to help resolve my condition. She sent me home with a big folder with much printed material that explained why my jaw hurt and how it probably happened, and also explained what some of the options were and how they were performed. This was so wonderful because my (very concerned) husband and mother both had many questions that I didnt quite know how to answer. The information they sent answered all of them. Now, I am not saying that I am looking forward to going to the dentist again in a few weeks (who really would?), but I am looking forward to working with Dr. Stanley and her staff in order to resolve my condition. One last thing I would like to add... I am terrified of going to the dentist, and I had a full blown anxiety attack in a dentists office in the past. I actually made it through the entire visit with Stanley Dentistry with very little anxiety, no tears, and best of all no ""chill pill"" !!!!! That was beyond awesome, and the first time in a very very long time that I was that comfortable in a dentists office. I give this practive five stars, and would give them more stars than that if we were allowed to do that on this site! Pros: Professional, Curteous, Knowledgable more

That's exactly how I would describe the my experience with Stanley Dentistry.... Awesome. I became a patient there about 3 years ago when I first moved to this area. From my first phone call to sitting down and talking with Dr. Bobbi about my concerns and treatment, it was great. The assistants made me feel at home and comfortable and Dr. Bobbi listened to my concerns and answered all of my questions..... The dentist usually isn't my favorite place in the world to go, but the team at this office makes it enjoyable. more

Avoid Bobbi Stanley office at all costs! Summary: 1. They didn't completely remove my wisdom tooth. A piece of it was left in the gums. It is sharp and causing pain. It was not there before the wisdom tooth extraction and was definitely a result of the wisdom teeth removal. When I emailed them about it, Dr. Stanley said (and I quote directly) ""The fact that there is a sharp bone, attached or not, is no fault of this office. If you plan to have it removed, there will be a charge for our time."" 2. They really messed up my gums during the extraction. There was a half inch gash dug into my gums outside of the area they were working on where they had stuck a tool or a knife or something to pry out my teeth. 3. I have an additional cavity in a tooth they've already done a filling on. I sincerely believe it was not done properly in the first place (after the filling their was still a deep pit in the tooth). They would charge me to get it fixed. 4. The main doctor, Bobbi Stanley, is so wishy washy. During one of my initial appointments she said I had 3 cavities, but then five minutes later when she was writing up the appointment she told me I had 2. I asked her about the 3rd cavity and then she said ""Oh, did I say 3? Let me check again"" and she looked again and decided I had 3 again. When I asked her to show me on the XRAY she was struggling to identify the 3rd cavity concretely and instead decided it was just a ""soft spot"" but that it needed to be taken care of anyways. There office is very comfortable and easy to like for its free beverages, nice dental assistants (they know your name and smile) and follow up...she does everything right in her office to make it likable except for the actual dentistry part. So don't be fooled by the office -- Dr. Stanley herself is as fake as the veneers she tries to sell every visit . Most importantly the quality of work there is awful and they don't stand by it. If there's a mistake, it will be paid for at your cost to fix and the procedures are very expensive -- this is probably how they afford to only work Monday - Thursday. Again avoid this place at all costs, you won't regret it. Pros: comfortable office and free drugs Cons: poor quality, expensive, services you don't need pushed more

I paid $105 consult fee for the dentist to tell me she could not assist me. I spent a total of 30 mins waiting and no more then 5 minutes with the dentist. I found her to be very cold and uninterested. Of course I was still required to pay $105 even though she claimed she could not offer me any services. I had such a bad experience I waited a couple months and went to a different cosmetic dentist in Cary for a second opinion. The experience was completely different. The experience at the new dentist was great, she spent alot of time with me and we talked about many options. I would definitely avoid Bobbi Stanley, unless maybe you are a celebrity then Im sure she'll be nice to you!!! I cant believe shes trying to get voted best dentist in Cary! more
