My son and daughter-in-law moved from Pascagoula, Ms. to Abingdon a year ago. When my husband and I came to visit, we went and found it to be a warm loving church with an awesome choir. Our son was raised Catholic and our new daughter-in-law is not......but she loved the choir...and so they visited it again.....they let us know yesterday that they go every Sunday. I mentioned to my son that he might go to the Saurday evening Mass this Easter....it is so beautiful and symbolic....and they said they would.........I always pray for my children, even though they are no longer children, to stay connected to Jesus....at this parish I feel they are. more

A Place for Catholics in Abingdon 8/15/2005

This is a welcoming Catholic community in the heart of Abingdon, MD. They have several convenient Mass times (7:30am, 9:00am, 11:30 am, 5:00pm (Saturday) and 12 noon Spanish mass). They have a Byzantine and Spanish masses too. Catholic education is provided, and they have a preschool for 3 and 4 year olds. Fellowship often follows mass in Kilduff hall. Parking can be a problem as their parking lot is not ample—people often park on Abingdon Rd (traffic gets messy!). more
