Great school, loving environment, excellent education 6/17/2009

I did a lot of research about where to send my first child to school and fell in love with the faculty and staff at St. Bernards. Two-teacher teams at each grade level are well matched and break already small classes into smaller sub-groups. I fell in love with the Kindergarten teachers and the physical setup - the diverse group of children were given all the tools they needed to start their elementary school careers. Pros: Children know they are loved/respected, top-notch teachers Cons: Campus constrained physically, but makes good use of space more

Disorganized summer program ran by immature college students- parents beware! 6/17/2008

This was our first year at St. B's summer program and we were very disappointed. The best word to describe the program would be chaos. While older students may fare better, the younger children seem to be lost in a sea of immature counselors who don't know what they are doing. The ratio of counselor to child is much too high and most of the day seems to be spent watching tv or simply sitting. Pros: Summr program cost and location Cons: Immature summer staff, lack of security, completely disorganized. more
