Wow, this store USED to be a gem! The new ownership has really caused a downswing in what used to be an adorable and eclectic store. Now, it is drab, with crabby employees and a dour, sour, and overwhelmed looking store owner to over see them all. Beyond the boring atmosphere ( no music and just plain uninviting!) the merchandise is nothing new. Some of the art is interesting, but certainly not worth what the're asking for. It's time for those roots to be pulled up and something new planted in it's place! Pros: Lots of other cool things to do Cons: Parking is a nightmare more

Every experience at Square Roots is a pleasure. A steadfast menu of local artist's works is nicely mixed with seasonal treats. It can't be beat for its tasteful selction of birthday treats, holiday goodies and a delicious arrangement of flowers - aptly complemented by the friendly and helpful staff. Square Roots is one of those stores you only find once in a lifetime. It is beautifully decorated with saleable items, each reasonably priced and usually made from local artistry. The staff is always extremely helpful, beyond friendly, and I was leave with a bundle of merchandise. Pros: Great location, Personable Staff, Reasonable Priced more
